If I knew, I wouldn’t have a podcast. Truth be told this is an excuse to have friends, colleagues and strangers over to talk shop. This is my soapbox when needed, a chance to learn from others, or at the very least, an impressionable way to shmooze. Better yet, it’s a place where I can pickpocket ideas from those with tricks worth stealing. I’ve worked on studio films, directed music videos over t

he threat of death by bipolar lead singers, sliced through enough frames in the editing bay to make my fingers bleed, and done a menagerie of other jobs to keep the electricity flowing. But now it’s time for a shift. The Lowdown is about focus, not distractions, tangents, or side-steps. These are the people honing their craft through daily practice. These are the people that I want to meet, and emulate. They’re lifers, grinding it out every day to be apart of Hollywood history. Some of them are titans, others are diamonds in the rough.
