So the cast for our next play "The Island" have been announced. We are delighted to have such a wealth of talent and experience.

CHRISTOPHER LEE-POWER

Christopher graduated from Richmond Drama School with an Oxford Diploma in acting and additional training at RADA. He recently starred as the General in the WW1 drama ‘One Night’ by BAFTA director Christopher Swann. His theatrical background spans from Shakespearean roles to works by Chekov and Brecht. His television credits include appearances on BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Amazon Prime and Sky.

MARTA CASADO

Marta attained her BA Hons Degree in Drama at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Málaga. Marta toured Spain for six years with La Paca Theatre Company. She featured in a variety from classical to contemporary Dramas, alongside working on independent films. Since moving to Liverpool in 2018 Marta has worked on a variety of projects, and continued her development with the Act Up North Drama group.

CRAIG McGRATH

Craig McGrath is a Wirral based actor who has been performing nation wide for the last fifty years. Craig’s vast experience spans both stage and screen. He is known for his work on the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. He is currently working with Sudden Death Theatre company.

CRAIG ASH MCKENNA

Craig Ash McKenna is the artistic director and founder of “Times of 13”. He studied Dance and Performance locally, before studying Physical Theatre at East 15. He went on to Graduate from Leeds Becket University with a BA in Performance. He Creates original work for both stage and screen, with talent from across the north west region.

There are paid casting opportunities for our new project "The Island" A thriller set in an unknown location. Where a small group of scientists have sealed themselves away for 25 years, working on a mystery project. After all this time we are about to uncover its secrets.

The show will be debuted at The Wirral Theatre Festival at the end of august. If you would like to be considered for any of the roles below. please send your headshot CV, and cover letter to [email protected]

Closing date is the 31st of March, with auditions taking place early April. Rehearsals will take place on the Wirral, and all applicants need to be North West based.

The Maker - Playing age 50+
The lead of a scientific research team that is based on a lonely island in the middle of nowhere. A once promising genius that left for the island, and was never heard of again. He is wise, cunning, and extremely intelligent. But over the years the isolation on the island has taken its toll on him. Now only two remain. Himself and his loyal lead assistant, Thomas.

Thomas - Playing age 50+
The Makers second in command, his lead lab assistant and loyal friend. Their friendship has never faulted over the years, but as The Maker struggles with the weight of his decisions, Thomas refuses to give up hope.

Eve - Playing Age 20-35
Has never left the island, she has never known the outside world. She is quick-witted and dangerous. It’s never clear what her motivations are, and as time has passed, her freedom has become more restricted, in line with the tragic events that have taken place on the island.
