In Padley Gorge I always fall under the spell of the ancient trees and stay out far too long amongst the quiet and shadows.

Orion, Running Man, Horsehead & Flame setting over Stonehenge 😍🏹

So this kind of astrophotography is called deepscape, it's like my moon shots where i have much bigger separation from the foreground subject using a long focal length to give the deep space object a much larger perspective 🤩

For this shot i used my Canon Ra and Rokinon 135mm
Sky 5 x RGB 60s F4 iso 1600 + 6 HA x 60s F/2.8 iso 3200 Stacked
FG 2 x 60s F4 iso 500 and blended in photoshop.

My sister in law’s 82nd birthday. We caught a narrow gauge steam train from Porthmadog to Tan Y Bwlch (until the gap) and then walked to Borth Y Gest. A great day out.
