Today our country gained a new citizen for whom we are deeply grateful. Marilyn came into our lives on April 6, 2020 as the pandemic had just begun and our dear Gloria, widowed and almost 90, fell ill. Over the next three and a half years she served as beloved helper and skilled companion and today she achieved her dream of citizenship. So grateful.

If you're reeling from last night's onslaught of lies and bravado, there's a name for what the former occupant did to dominate the stage --it's a gaslighting technique called "The Gish Technique." Meanwhile, our president did his best to relay the facts.

Read below to understand the real problem. We can't let media pundits dismay us, Biden is doing government honestly and well; this alternative candidate will take us down with our democracy.

Stay strong. Get out the vote. Media pundits, call out the lies and report the facts, please.

Celebrating 34 in so many ways . . . Last Thursday, 12 jurors bravely found a path to justice for someone who claimed to be above the law.

34 years ago today, Paul and I vowed to love and respect each other regardless of the ups and downs, disagreements and distractions, our mutual perfectionism that seemed in sync at times, other times not so much . . .

Folks, that's life. We don't always agree. But if we keep the faith and work to bridge our gaps by honoring our own and other's vulnerabilities, foibles, and rights -- well, it's a beautiful life. I am blessed and grateful. Onward to world peace by 2030.

Alice Steer Wilson painted Cape May's renaissance from the early 1970s until she died in 2001. Now, 22 years later, her shimmering watercolors continue to inspire us and head the sections in this book.
