Wrapping Up Parks + Recreation Month with a Day a Giving Back To the Community

Shawnee County Parks + Recreation will be visiting various parks and recreation locations on Friday, August 2, they will be handing out water and other supplies and taking the opportunity to thank the Shawnee County community for accessing and using their facilities. The fun will begin at 8:00 A.M. and they will be on trails, at select parks and finishing the day at the aquatic centers.

Shawnee County Parks + Recreation hope to have provided and to continue providing safe spaces for all our neighbors in Shawnee County.

Share your park and recreation stories with them as they celebrate by going to their social media channels and posting pictures.
