I have over 7 years of experience working with clients to create innovative content that displays their vision or brand. RyanPavoneMedia is a freelance video production and photography company started by creative and entrepreneur Ryan Pavone. Over the past 7 years I have used this platform to develop and produce professional quality marketing and promotional content for clients, as well as persona

l projects. It has allowed me to hone my skills as a videographer and photographer while learning how to successfully produce individualized video proposals, work with clients and execute creative concepts from idea to finished product. My passion for action sports and adventure originally led me to filmmaking; a talent that has grown into a career that allows me to utilize my creativity and business skills. I studied cinematography at Marin School of the Arts in the Bay Area, where I learned the nuts and bolts of the craft, and am now pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Services include aerial videography, video production and editing, photography, sound, color correction, video effects and motion graphics. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

I’m super grateful for all of the support on my recent video JOYRIDE. In honor of wrapping up the project, I wanted to share some behind the scenes photos captured by .matchu 📸

The concept for the video really started with the locations. When shooting a spec project, it’s very important to tailor the concept to what is actually feasible from a production standpoint. It’s fun to think of crazy ideas but unless you have the capabilities to pull it off, the film won’t get made. I knew that I wanted to show off the full capabilities of the car as well as Josh’s precision driving skills, but had to find a way to do it with a minimal budget, no street closures, and away from pedestrian traffic. Thankfully we were given access to which gave us the location and production design for our warehouse scene, and I spent a few days scouting out areas of downtown Los Angeles as well as tunnel and dry lakebed locations where we would have the lighting and access we needed to get our shots. One of the biggest challenges we ran into was during the desert shoot. With a few miles of off-road trail leading up to the lakebed, we had to tow Josh’s car from LA in order to have enough clearance to access. Another unanticipated challenge was that when you are driving at top speed on a dry lakebed, dirt gets EVERYWHERE. On bodies, equipment, and definitely in a car that doesn’t have doors.

Each project has its own takeaways that allow you to be better prepared and more efficient the next time around. I’m thankful to have been surrounded by such good friends so we could enjoy some laughs along the way.

Knights of the round table ⚔️

Big shoutout to the entire crew who worked tirelessly to make this project happen. One of the most rewarding parts of this industry is being able to bring so many creative and talented individuals together to achieve a common goal. The long hours and countless challenges all become worth it when you get to surround yourself with friends you can count on. I’ve been very fortunate to work with and learn from the solid team that has had the pleasure of assembling.
