I have over 7 years of experience working with clients to create innovative content that displays their vision or brand. RyanPavoneMedia is a freelance video production and photography company started by creative and entrepreneur Ryan Pavone. Over the past 7 years I have used this platform to develop and produce professional quality marketing and promotional content for clients, as well as persona

l projects. It has allowed me to hone my skills as a videographer and photographer while learning how to successfully produce individualized video proposals, work with clients and execute creative concepts from idea to finished product. My passion for action sports and adventure originally led me to filmmaking; a talent that has grown into a career that allows me to utilize my creativity and business skills. I studied cinematography at Marin School of the Arts in the Bay Area, where I learned the nuts and bolts of the craft, and am now pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. Knights of the round table ⚔️

Big shoutout to the entire crew who worked tirelessly to make this project happen. One of the most rewarding parts of this industry is being able to bring so many creative and talented individuals together to achieve a common goal. The long hours and countless challenges all become worth it when you get to surround yourself with friends you can count on. Had a lot of fun experimenting with the photography on this one. Less is more when your trying to display a product and I wanted to achieve a clean minimalistic look to fit the style of the brand.

Its wild how much effort can go into making something look effortless 😅 but its always fun to push my skills and venture into new styles and techniques.

🏞Was lucky enough the make the trip out to Yosemite this year to see the annual fire falls. After living in California my entire life I’d somehow never made it out to Yosemite and was blown away when I finally got to experience it’s beauty in person. I’ve seen thousands of pictures of Yosemite but none of them can truly represent what it’s like being there in person. Staring up at the huge granite rock formations millions of years in the making really brings into perspective how truly spectacular the natural phenomenons of our world are.

For anyone who isn’t familiar with the Yosemite firefalls, for only a few weeks at the end of February the sun aligns in the perfect spot on the horizon where it lights up horsetail falls on the face of El Capitan. In order for it to happen you need to have a perfect series of events in which you have the right time of year, enough snowfall to create the flow of the waterfall, enough warmth during the day to melt that snow, and minimal cloud cover so that you can see the falls. Unfortunately there was minimal snow melt this year so the falls weren’t flowing very much, but thankfully we were still able to witness it’s spectacular effects.

On a side note, I also have so much more appreciation now for the film Free Solo. you are a legend.

This trip was the perfect way to relax and recharge at the start of the new year. Been trying to dedicate myself to my goals for 2022 and focus on dialing in my mental and physical state. Feels so good to stop and appreciate how far I have come before setting my sights on where I want to be. Gonna end this one off with some motivational thinking - Anything that you put your mind to is possible. The human potential is unlimited, your only constraints are time and effort and since we can’t control time, get out there and put in the effort. Thanks to anyone who supports me and my creativity. 🤙🏻⚡️

2021➡️2022

2021 was a year of many firsts and lasts. I turned in my final homework assignments and graduated college with a business degree, making hundreds of friends and having some of the best experiences in my life along the way.

I also moved out to Los Angeles to pursue doing what I love. Because I decided to take a leap, I was able to explore a new place and get a full time job creating content for brands that I am truly proud of.

2021 was also the year that I fell in love. Shorty after the start of the year, I began dating the most amazing girl I had ever met. She brought me joy, laughter and motivation, and I learned what it feels like to open my heart to someone else and have them do the same for me.

I started my own personal health journey. I implemented a morning routine to give me energy and confidence throughout my day. I also began meditating and started reading again in order to greater appreciate what I have in my life and focus my attention on the things that are important.

Ontop of all that I was able to travel to Hawaii, Costa Rica, Mexico, Oregon, Houston, North Carolina, Austin, and all around California to explore new places and see the world around me.

But 2021 wasn’t all good. I had to cancel lots of plans due of Covid, and still caught it multiple times. I hurt my wrist and had to stop working out for a long period. I moved away from my friends and girlfriend and wasn’t able to see them for longer periods of time. And I lost a childhood pet and a grandmother due to cancer.

But if there’s anything I learned from last year it’s how important it is to slow down, take some deep breaths, and appreciate all of the good that is in your life. Don’t let yourself get weighed down by anything negative. Remember the times when you felt loved, accomplished, and energized, and use those to motivate yourself to reach your goals. And when you do reach those goals, take the time to appreciate that feeling so you can continue to recall it in the future.

🌆Urban Tropics🌴

Woke up before the crowds two weeks back and met up with at the famous Venice Beach Skatepark. Shoots like this bring me back to the roots of where it all started for me. The local skatepark was where I was originally introduced to the world of photo and video, something that has now become my passion and opened up so many doors and opportunities in my life. This was where I learned the importance of dedication and experienced what it felt like to put my blood, sweat and tears into something and then have it finally pay off. Find what gives you that spark in your life and then focus your time and energy on developing it because you never know where it will take you in the end 🎬

🌲A Walk Through The Forest 🏕

It is in places like this that it becomes easier to acknowledge the beauty that is inherent in all aspects of life. From the tall sequoia trees that have the knowledge of centuries and seemingly extend into the sky, all the way down to the small creatures that use them for shelter and food.

Beauty lies within the acknowledgement and acceptance of the intricacies that make something unique. It is a culmination of visual, emotional, spiritual and intellectual recognition. I too often find myself caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is easier to group things together as uniform then to stop and search for the hidden beauty that lies within everything. It is in environments like this where I can take a deep breath of fresh mountain air, listen to the sound of silence, and experience the natural beauty of the world. 🌎

🌴 Moments from Laguna 🌊

This is the first from a set of photos I shot two weeks ago on a quick trip to laguna with Lila. I’ve been having a lot of fun designing these carousels and wanted to thank everyone for the positive feedback I’ve been receiving on them so far. I feel like Instagram is so saturated with content now and I really wanted to find a way to make my posts stand out from the rest. This gives me an opportunity to tell more of a story with the photos I am posting, and also add in quotes or messaging that are meaningful to me. I draw inspiration from so many different places, and these carousels allow me to combine it all together into my own style. A few people have asked me about the process so I should be making a reel soon that explains how I create these so you can give it a shot yourself 📸 Cheers! ~Ryan

Swung by the hollywood sign the other day after work for a quick shoot with my good friends and . These kids have been two of my best friends since the beginning and it’s crazy to see how much has changed in our lives over the years as we grow up and pursue our passions. No matter what our paths through life have continually crossed and I have no doubt that they will continue to in the future. True friendships are forever 🤙🏻

⚡️A few months back I had the opportunity to get out on the pismo dunes and shoot a short feature with .j.levin. She introduced me to the off-roading community and the gave me a look into the time and dedication that it takes to do what she does. From endless hours in the garage, to meticulously crafting your lines and powering through a tough route, it was so much fun to get an inside look into what it takes to bring a car where few others have before. This was shot in collaboration with who’s mission is to supply people with the energy needed to pursue their passions whatever those may be. 👊🏻
