This week in October of 1968, the debut solo album by Cass Elliot "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" was released on Dunhill Records, produced by John Simon.
She had agreed to a three-album deal as a solo artist with Dunhill Records less than a month after her split with the Mamas & the Papas. The album peaked at #87 on the Billboard 200.
It was recorded in no more than ten days at Wally Heider's studio in Los Angeles.
