Rolling Stone Metal Awards The Rolling Stone Metal Awards (RSMA) is the India's first and only annual awards for metal music.

The Rolling Stone Metal Awards was launched in 2010 to recognize, support and promote the burgeoning metal scene and the immensely talented bands in the country. The Rolling Stone Metal Awards (RSMA) returns in its sixth edition next year. The country's first and only annual awards for metal commemorate the best in Indian metal from extreme metal to prog metal to hardcore. The awards ceremony has

been marked with laid-to-waste performances in the past by bands such as Scribe, Undying INC, Bhayanak Maut, Zygnema and Exhumation. RSMA's main awards of Best Band, Best Song and Best Album are given away based on public opinion via online voting and critics' choice, established by a panel of distinguished jury members including musicians, music industry vets and journalists. The awards also celebrate the best metal drummer, guitarist, vocalist, keyboardist, bassist and album artwork besides serving as a launchpad for emerging bands as well.
