Kaitlyn & Matthew tied the knot at Wynyard Hall, an 18th century country house with its own onsite chapel. There was SO MUCH happening, we were in our element! Kaitlyn’s dress and veil were spectacular and the veil stayed firmed planted on Kaitlyn’s head ALL DAY - what a trooper. We heard live music all day, which was just dreamy! We loved the illustrator who was doing her own version of group shots. The building itself is so grand, but the floral displays and the tablescapes really held their own against the incredible backdrop of the ballroom. We loved all of the nods to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, we could satisfy our inner geeks! To top this wonderful, wonderful day off, we caught one of the best sunsets we’ve seen all year. Thank you Kaitlyn & Matthew for letting us be a part of your special day!

Olivia & Ed chose Anne of Cleves Barn to hold their celebrations. The barn has quite the history and part of that history is that it was gifted to Anne of Cleves by Henry VIII! Anyway, fast forward to this summer and we were lucky enough to be there and capture Olivia & Ed's special day. Right from the morning you could feel the party atmosphere! The flowers were absolutely beautiful (thanks to Liv’s sister, Rach) we couldn't take our eyes (and cameras) off them! After an amazing pink champagne tower we got some gorgeous light just before the sun went down and then the party really got started. The dancefloor was bouncing for hours and made even better when a shot trolley got wheeled onto it! Thank you Olivia & Ed for a wonderful day. Here's a look at their trailer.

The Howtown Hotel in Ullswater holds a special place in the hearts of Sophie & Hugh, which made the celebrations held there all the more special! The day started off with a swim in the lake by a very brave Hugh and some equally brave guests! Sophie was getting ready with a spectacular view over the lake, it was a brilliant morning being both calm and fun before the day got underway. A marquee was erected right by waterside with breathtaking views over Ullswater, if you’re getting married in the Lake District, what could be better than being right by the water?? Their day was elegant with gorgeous white flowers which looked perfect against all of the purples and greens of the hills surrounding us. Thank you Sophie & Hugh for letting us be a part of your special day!

Katy & Mike tied the knot at the beautiful Barn in The Fells in the Lake District. They chose to have a first look with each other and have private vows, just the two of them, with the spectacular fells in the background. It was so romantic and we felt honoured to be able to capture it for them. It felt even better that we got to film some of this with Super8 to add to the whole timeless feel of the day. After a small, intimate ceremony the newly weds chose to have ‘afternoon guests’ not evening evening guests, which is something we’d never seen before and we loved! After all of the mingling, glasses clinking and amazing food it was time for the wedding ‘cake’ which was actually a piñata! Once that was smashed the ceilidh got underway and what a party! The weather was doing it’s usual Lake District thing for most of the day and it made for the most atmospheric of portraits! Thank you, Katy & Mike, for letting us be a part of your special day!

Faye & Lewis chose The Willows at The Willows at The Woodmans for the celebrations. It was an emotional day starting off with some gorgeous letters that Faye & Lewis had written to each other. We kept our eyes peeled for a break in the rain and as soon as it was dry we quickly snook out with the two newly weds. They both couldn’t stop laughing with each other and we couldn’t stop filming! After some incredible food the party got started with a jam-packed dance floor. What a party! Thank you, Faye & Lewis, for letting us be a part of your special day.

Sophie & George's day started off with some exceptional letters to each other, they both certainly have a way with words! After we'd all recovered from all of that emotion we headed over to the gorgeous Healey Barn where the celebrations were held. The food is always a focal point at Healey Barn and this day was no exception - sharing platters were on the menu - made even more amazing by the one long table everyone was sat at. We loved it! We think long tables are so elegant and this looked like an amazing dinner party to be invited to! After dinner we snook off with these two into the woods for some beautiful portraits, firstly as a family and then just the two of them. The light was just right so we had a wander into the field out the front too! It was a wonderful day rounded off with an incredible party atmosphere! Thank you, Sophie & George for letting us be a part of your special day!

Lauren & Adam tied the knot with their two boys at Shotton Grange on a gorgeous summer's day. The light was perfect! These two love birds wrote some beautiful words for each other to read out on the morning of the celebrations - one of our favourite parts of our job is the trust that our wonderful couples put in us when they open us and tell their story like this! This was followed by some amazing personal vows. The whole day was filled with sunshine, love, fun and dancing with the most brilliant party atmosphere - we had the BEST day. Amy-Lee & Jake held their celebrations at Silchester Farm - a beautiful venue in Hampshire that has loads of cute animals onsite! We loved the pigs and the pygmy goats (*note to ourselves* pygmy goats are not happy goats unless they're being fed: bring food or shinpads!). The ceremony itself was outside with views of the pond and weeping willow - dreamy! There was a very lovely sentimental reading by the mother of the groom: a book she used to read him when he was little, everyone loved storytime! Guests were from two opposite sides of the world, from the UK and from Australia, so the whole day felt like one big party. We heard some brilliant speeches before we took the newly weds for a stroll in a field for the just-married feeling to sink in. After some delicious looking cocktails it was time for everyone to hit the dancefloor - and what. a. party! Thank you, Amy-Lee & Jake for letting us be a part of your special day!

Jenna & Ryan tied the knot at Le Petit Chateau. The day started off with a very fun morning with Jenna and her most loved people! We heard some gorgeous words from Ryan that Jenna had wrote to him and some equally gorgeous personal vows from the both of them! Followed by 3 golden fluff balls racing down the aisle with the rings! The dogs planted themselves firmly at the front of the aisle for the rest of the ceremony, in the centre of the action! While guests were busy sipping cocktails and reading Jenna & Ryan's wedding newspaper we snook off through the meadow, to the lake for some first dance practice! Jenna's fairytale dress looked amazing swishing around! The whole day was jam-packed full of personal touches - it was a dream to capture. Thank you, Jenna & Ryan for letting us be a part of your celebrations!

Racheal & Gareth held their celebrations at Ellingham Hall. These two lovebirds both got ready at the hall, with beautiful light pouring through all of the giant windows - dreamy! Once they were both dressed in their finery we then all headed to the Church of St. Maurice. The church is only a short stroll away, it was lovely to see guests walk through a gap in the hedge on their way to the ceremony. After a lush amount of confetti outside the church we all headed back to the hall for the drinks reception and for Racheal & Gareth to be surrounded by their loved ones while they take it all in! We managed to sneak away to take advantage of the beautiful light and got some portraits of just the two of them in the woodland area. After dinner there was an excellent game of rounders played as the very dramatic mist came rolling in. We couldn't resist going for a walk with the newly weds to capture some of that romantic, moody sky; it looked spectacular on camera! Thank you, Racheal & Gareth, for a wonderful day.

2024 was an absolute pleasure! We got to experience some incredible venues that were new to us as well as visiting some favourites. We love the challenge that a new venue brings and we keep that energy going with old favourites by always trying new ways to shoot them. Night-time portraits were something that we got creative with in 2024, in keeping with our aim that no two wedding films are the same!
Craig’s mild obsession with trying out unusual lenses has only got stronger over the past year. His latest is a reinvention of a 19th century design - the very first portrait lens. It makes the background all swirly and everything look dreamy!
Most importantly we met all of these marvellous couples along with all of their favourite people and that's something that we will never take for granted.

Vicky & James prepared for their big day at the gorgeous Healey Hall, just a few minutes away from their venue of choice: Healey Barn. It's a beautiful old building full of giant windows and bags of charm - perfect for spending the morning with friends and family before the celebrations really begin! The dramatic misty skies, the romantic sleeves on Vicky's dress and the childhood sweetheart beginnings of their love story made the whole day the perfect fairy tale! To make it even better we went for a walk in the woods for some portraits of just the two of them. The day was filled with fun, singing and so much dancing! We had the best day, thank you, Vicky & James for letting us be a part of it 💜

Tash & Mark tied the knot at Healey Barn, a beautiful venue in Northumberland. As everyone got ready for the day ahead the sun shone on the preparations; the wedding bouquet being looked at for the first time, final touches to hair and make up and making sure ties were tied perfectly. It was dreamy! Once these two lovebirds were married it was time for the drinks reception, one of our favourite parts of the day to capture. This was made all the better by us all being serenaded by the brilliant band Tailor & Co. We're so lucky that we get to listen to live music at weddings! Just before everyone sat down for the feast that Healey Barn provided we took Tash & Mark to the woods for some atmospheric portraits! Absolute superstars they were for climbing over a wooden fence to get to where we were headed. After the feast everyone was relaxed and happy and danced the night away.

We had a magical day with Amy & Will at the ever beautiful Thicket Priory. We arrived to a frozen lake and guests catching up over breakfast - a very good start to the day! We saw a copious amount of confetti (our absolute favourite!) and a very rowdy dancefloor (are we allowed two favourites??). To top all of this off Amy & Will certainly both have a way with words, which we heard at all of the most important parts of their celebrations; from the cards that they exchanged in the morning, their personal vows during the ceremony and their brilliant speeches. It was a joy and a privilege to be able to capture a snapshot of two people's lives that are so perfectly intertwined and who are so deeply in love with each other. Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day.

Sarah & Haris 💜 Our year started off with a super personal and gorgeous wintery day for Sarah & Haris at Thirsk Lodge Barns. Sarah got ready for the celebrations at her parents' home surrounded by her family, which was a joy to capture on camera! Haris started his day off at the venue in the beautiful farm house onsite, featuring some marvelous light dancing around the rooms. The ceremony included Haris's brother playing the piano, singing from Sarah's sister and some amazing readings. We kept a close watch on the sky and we were lucky enough to see a glorious sunset in the depths of winter! The heartfelt, romantic and eloquent speeches were a particular highlight just before a packed dancefloor rounded the day off perfectly. Thank you Sarah & Haris for letting us be a part of your day.

Archie & Rachel REALLY celebrated tying the knot at Charlton Hall in December. Archie started his day off with an early morning dip in the North Sea with some pals. VERY brave! Back at the venue Rachel looked impossibly glam getting ready in her gorgeous robe. Everywhere we looked there was something incredible for us to capture. There were more disco balls than we've ever seen in the same room, a spectacular tassel wall installation that we had to be torn away from, out-of-this-world flowers, indoor pyrotechnics and so, so much more going on. It was sparkly, romantic and fun! What more could we ask for?
