CHIPATA CITY COUNCIL SIGNS 4 CONTRACTS WORTH K2, 878, 437

Chipata City Council Acting Town Clerk Donald Kacha Mwanza says the Local Authority is working round the clock to see to it that the city receives the development that it deserves and that the Council will ensure that quality services are delivered to the people.

Mr. Mwnza said Chipata City Council will continue to be transparent and accountable to all the services that are delivered and disclosed that the 4 contracts that have been signed include the supply and delivery of Solar Street Lights in Chipata Township, the completion of a 1x2 Class Room Block at Nadalisika Primary School, Road Marking of T4 Carriage way and the Construction of a 1x3 Class Room Block at Chawilila Primary School in Luangeni Constituency.

He said the Supply and Delivery of Solar Street Lights is at a total cost of K819, 692.00, the completion of a 1x2 CRB at Nadalisika Primary School is at K219, 950.00, Road Marking of T4 Carriage Way will cost K920, 966.00 and that the construction of a 1x3 CRB at Chawilila Primary School will cost K917, 829.00

The Acting Town Clerk further revealed that the supply and delivery of solar streetlights will be done by Saro Agro Industrial Limited, the completion of a 1x2 CRB at Nadalisika will be done by Sandford Mwila Limited, the Road Marking of T4 Carriage Way will be done by Mubiza Enterprises Limited and that the construction of a 1x3 CRB at Chawilila will be done by Lloch Investments Limited.

Mr. Mwanza has since called on contractors to deliver quality services within the stipulated time frame and that Chipata City Council will not allow works that are not meeting the expectations of the city.
