Claude Tayag, born in 1956 in Angeles City, Pampanga, is like a one-man show that could fill several lifetimes. He's not just a talented painter, but also a wizard with wood sculpting and furniture design.

Tayag is also a top-notch chef with awards to prove it, a bestselling author, a regular columnist for the Philippine Star, hosts his own show called "Chasing Flavors" on the Metro Channel — and he’s the culinary genius who introduced sisig to none other than Anthony Bourdain. The guy's got more skills than you can shake a spatula at! 👨🏻‍🍳

Mimi Ciccone, who is an artist, designer, travel curator and most recently an author, has been exposed to fashion and travel for as long as she can remember. She was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines, to a Filipino-Spanish mother and a Swiss father who had a fashion-exporting business.

Ciccone moved to Switzerland at the age of 18 to pursue her bachelor's degree in international design management at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts in her father’s hometown. She has now spent 18 years in Switzerland living and working in many different cities... 👗🇨🇭

In June, renowned celebrity chefs Jacqueline Laudico and Rolando Laudico served out a three-course meal at the Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands following a series of events they attended across Europe. 🥗🇳🇱

Many guests such as ambassadors, chefs, and food connoisseurs were invited not only to taste the Laudicos’ mouthwatering dishes but to witness their cooking expertise during a live cooking demonstration: Rolando prepared the main course, while Jacqueline showcased the dessert course.

Donna, an award-winning author and Head of Procurement Process Excellence and Digital Transformation for ABB’s Robotics and Discrete Automation business will receive the prestigious award from the Foundation for Filipina Women’s Network at a Gala Dinner Ceremony on 1 November 2023 at the Lobkowicz Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Prague Castle complex in the Czech Republic. Big congratulations to you, Donna. Continue to inspire us all! 🥳✨ NOTE: The FWN gives this award out to around 100 Filipinas across the globe annually. Artists Unite! 🎨 From January 20 to January 30 the United Negros Artists (UNA) spearheaded the largest collaboration of several artistic groups for the first time in Western Visayas in the Philippines. The exhibit had 70 participating artists all with their own unique art style.
