Players take turns by spinning the spinner to see how many donuts to feed the kangaroo. When Doo Doo Kangaroo is full... Watch out, he’s gotta go! He’ll start to shake and shimmy all around the table causing donuts or doo-doos to fall out of his toilet! Race to pick up the donuts and place them on your plate but don’t pick up the doo-doo! The first player with 5 donuts on their plate wins! 🍩

If you are like me, your cat is special to you. I grew up having multiple cats inside and outside of our home. Each cat has a unique personality, sleeps A LOT (70% of their life is spent sleeping 💤), may have the zoomies and love to play, and deserves all the extra love, amongst other things! has new cat treats for your cat to enjoy without all the mess.

This week we started up homeschooling! Our boys are still in a Parent’s Day Out program (PDO) twice a week, so for the next year homeschool will be all about fun and light learning.

We started off with the letter A and the word Apple. We will chat later this week about all the different kinds of apples and have more apple activities. First of all, we went over how to spell apple, how to say it and finished up with dot activities with the letter A and with an apple. We also went over all the different things we could think of that started with the letter A. At the end of our lesson, we got to enjoy apples together! 🍎🍏

I’ll begin documenting our homeschooling journey over on my blog, so be on the lookout for the posts to come! I’ll go over, in more detail, what we are learning about and the breakdown of it all.

Something neat to consider!

I am all about not rushing our boys on ANYTHING. Sometimes it’s hard to see them fail, and sometimes it is hard to see them not achieve what they want. However, learning and living go hand in hand ❤️

Look at the differences between a typical preschool child’s hand (left) and a typical 7 year old hand (right). Want to know why a preschool aged child isn’t able to write yet? This is why! Their hands are still developing and are not fully formed. So what should they be doing to support this? PLAY!! Playdough, colouring, cutting, gluing, playing outside, digging in dirt, sensory play, dress up play, science experiments, beading, puzzles, throwing balls, etc. All of these things help their hands develop. When they are physically ready to write, they will! No need to rush them, they will show you when they are ready!
