Pulver & Asche Records Pulver & Asche Records. Swiss Independent Label. Dust is sedimentation of time, measurement of becoming, reflecting calmness.

Dust and ashes can look the same - an undefined gray sand - but if you take a closer look they are very different. Ash instead is the result of a flash, recently vanished ardour, transmigrated matter. In their union you can recognize the essence of Pulver & Asche Records. Because it catches the instant without forgetting the past from where it comes from. Because it loves to reflect with lucidity

but also adhere to unpredictable outbursts of the contemporary. Because it slips through your fingers without being noticed and it becomes part of you.

La polvere e la cenere possono sembrare uguali – un’indefinibile sabbia grigia – ma in realtà sono molto diverse. La polvere è sedimentazione del tempo, è misura del divenire, è calma riflessiva. Invece la cenere è frutto della vampata, è ardore appena svanito, è materia trasmigrata. Nella loro unione si riconosce l’essenza dell’etichetta Pulver und Asche. Perché coglie l’attimo senza dimenticare il passato da cui proviene. Perché ama riflettere con lucidità ma anche aderire agli imprevedibili slanci del contemporaneo. Perché ti si infila tra le dita senza che te ne accorgi e diventa parte di te.

it took Niton a while to make their new album. maybe because they wanted to make things bigger, inviting - for the first time on one of their records - some guests.
not one, not two, not three, but 11 guests: very different, very talented, very inspired artists. and ‘11’ is precisely the title of the new album, which we are delighted to present in co-production with Berlin-based Shameless Records.
