We are extremely proud and honored to be a part of the film “The Mother of All Lies-كذب أبيض” which was selected to participate in the 76th Cannes Film Festival official competition in the section “Un Certain Regard” which will take place from 16 to 27 May 2023. Huge congrats to all the creators who worked on this Film, well deserved 🎊.

Our Story

Long ago, in a land not too far away, maybe near Egypt but that’s not important, grew a bountiful cashew tree. One day, when the years harvest was coming in, one of the many cashew fruit fell to the ground. Now this cashew apple was a tad different from the other ones for it had fur! Talk about nutritional value! Now the farmer whom owned the tree was rather curious as to what made the fruit like this, so he decided to take it home and slice it open. Instead of what should have been a cashew nut, was a cashew cat! This beautiful feline with golden fur and light brown eyes astonished the farmer and instantly captivated him; unable to resist his charm, the farmer decided to adopt and keep the kitty in his house along with naming him Kajoo. Little did the farmer know, this cat was something special… for he had a knack for art, finding the farmers art supplies and creating pictures of his own imagination. Once the farmer discovered the cats hobby, it was off to art school for him, of course he fit in well with the other students because who doesn’t love to pet a cat? After graduation, Kajoo bid farewell to his farmer father and headed off to pursue his dream, to change the world through art and animation! A dream that every kajoo kat dreams!
