Have you ever been creating a project and the cuts are sloppy, they tear, or don't cut all the way through?!
The problem could be the pressure setting!
Cricut only has its own branded products listed in the materials drop-down menu. And trust me, not all "vinyls" are the same!
Did you know if you're using another brand of material you should check on the manufacturer's suggested pressure setting? You can usually find the recommended pressure setting on the product you've purchased or on their website.
I have a brief tutorial to walk you through the process of adding a custom setting so the next time you go to use that material you'll find the setting in your drop-down menu along with all Cricut's materials.

Calibrating your machine is especially important when you’re making:
*printable vinyl projects
*print then cut stickers
*any project where you send the project to the printer first and then on to the Cricut
You should only have to calibrate your Cricut once. But if you start to notice your machine isn’t cutting properly you may want to go ahead and recalibrate.
