The Bristol born, London based artist not only brings his distinctive techno and bass sound to the release but strips his style back to bring us a set of atmospheric , breakbeat laden tracks with moody vocal chops, 4x4 drum beats, and sharp percussion fused with choral samples, dusty chords and speaker-rattling subs. 4 tracks that comfortably sit on any dance floor this summer.

Today we are pumped to announce the release of the second single from Mark Hawkins album Venn Diagram which comes out on May 5th on Aus Music.
Mark Hawkins under his Contactless alias has produced a dance floor ready remix of the original album track Siegfried Benaultibaum. The original track, with its searching bleep-riff and ice cool high hat runs, remains a stable core of futuristic electro funk within the album. The Contactless remix reveals the beating electro heart, a fast paced 808 beat flowing through a combination of soaring leads and squelchy basslines, all the while displaying the tough edge we've come to know and love Marks music for.

The first single, L.O.V.E combines a scintillating mix of euphoric mega pads and scratchy, basement funk breaks weaved around a dangerously catchy vocal. The Club Mix, also featured here on this video, delivers a more clear cut House Music remix, beaming with a rainbow bright audio colour and whip smart percussion, it has an infectious energy that will lift any set to giddy, summer-seeking heights. Mark has spent his career exploring the whole range of electronic dance music and his new album feels like a natural arrival point for this journey, with its effortless traversal of styles carving a unique path through modern digital music domains.
