Free-Spirit Records' favourite Gaelic Goan Nirmal Mc Nirmal is back with another sonic celebration of our psychedelic surfer's favourite pastimes: psytrance, surfing and acid. The third in a trifecta of EPs on FSR, 'Never Too Early' picks up where Nirmal's previous releases 'Beyond Infinity' and 'High Tide' left off, with a trio of high energy tracks that prove there's still lashings of high grade Goa left in Goa.

Launching straight into the epic 'Pick Me Up', this dancefloor destroyer is exactly what it says on the tin: hard hitting, driving and deeply euphoric, it's designed to pick up any flagging festival dancefloor by their flip flops and have them reaching for the stars.

The title track 'Never Too Early' is perfect for that summertime sunrise set, as our Goa-based Scottish-born explorer arrives in his VW kombi van to throw you in the back and take you to the Goan beach of your dreams.

Nirmal gets uncharacteristically ultra-spiritual with 'Chaitannya', for the word has many meanings in Sanskrit – but fortunately they're all good. This acid-laden bass bomb raises the vibration and transfers you beyond consciousness into a state of energy usually reserved for those that meditate, putting the trance back into psytrance in the process.

Spring has finally arrived in the northern hemisphere and with this fresh as f&ck release, Nirmal and Free-Spirit Records ensure you're going into festival season with a trifecta of secret weapons that will never be too early to unleash from your stash bag.

Free-Spirit Records blasts into Summer with this sizzling new debut EP from fresh talent Legion.

Legion by name and Legion by nature: he stands his ground and defends his moniker as this trio of crisp tracks are indeed a military arsenal of twisted psychedelic samples, uplifting melodies and driving basslines sure to ignite any fading festival dancefloor.

Kicking off with ‘Higher Level’, Norwich-born Netherlands-based Legion propels you directly into the astral plane with this absolute belter of an opening track. While DMT is definitely the winner of the day here, the acid basslines just keep flowing to make this one incredible journey that’s guaranteed to take the dancefloor to a ‘Higher Level’!

There’s also no messing around with ‘Ancient Aliens’, which charges straight into the deeply psychedelic realm and has us questioning everything we thought we knew about life as we know it. But when the soundtrack is this euphoric who cares where we came from – you’ll just want to keep dancing your ass off right until the end!

'Beyond Infinity' takes Buzz Lightyear's infamous catchphrase and turns it into a dancefloor destroyer. But this is certainly no Toy Story as Free-Spirit Records' favourite Gaelic Goan Nirmal deep fries this monster of a track in acid to ensure it's dark and driving from start to finish in true Scottish style. You'll be lifted "To infinity and beyond" as the basslines keep building and the music takes control.

The insanity continues with 'Just Crazy', designed to turn into the most static dancefloor into a heaving wreck. Nirmal's distinct psychedelic style of hyper-happy Goa trance comes into its own as things just keep getting loopier as the crescendo rises. For those of us not lucky enough to be in Goa at the moment, this track truly captures the intense barmy sunshine and bonkers vibes of a Goa beach party.

Nirmal's next big love – other than psytrance and acid of course – is surfing and nowhere is this celebrated more than in 'Big Wednesday'. Here things go well beyond berserk as the absolute ecstasy of riding the waves is again doused with lashings of acid, leading to one incredible candy flip of a track and one hell of a ride. You're going to want to keep this rescue track in your arsenal for when the waves on the dancefloor get a bit too smooth and it's time to Hang 10.
