A bustling city centre is still possible but not with the current adherence to ideological goals to cut transport emissions by 65% to meet obligations to unelected bureaucratic organisations.
Removing turning lanes to make way for cycle lanes, triple width footbaths and planter boxes has destroyed a once vibrant and safe city centre that people looked forward to visiting and all without the will or even knowledge of the people.
