Featuring DES/Akaliko's Shayekh Arif and Masum Rana at the immersive dinner experience curated by Mohammed Ali (artist and curator of Knights of the Raj) and Chef Munayam Khan of Raja Monkey Restaurant (Lasan Group).

This event marks the launch of Transforming Narratives, a three-year programme to place Birmingham as a leading international centre for contemporary South Asian arts. Transforming Narratives is supported by British Council and Arts Council England

We at Akaliko Records are proud to support the StartupDhaka 2 documentary film on the changing economic landscape of Bangladesh against all odds and reflecting on the new generation of companies from Bangladesh.

We want to thank all the musicians that have been part of the project. The 10 track compilation "The Wave" for the documentary will be available on major international platforms.
