Celebrity mom Saab Magalona shared a heartfelt post on Saturday as her second son Vito Tomas remembered his late sister Luna Isabel.

“So many unprompted mentions of our baby girl during the holidays and I do think it’s her way of reminding us that she’s our angel. It will be 7 years next month,” she wrote.

Xyler’s favorite word—SOWEE (Sorry)

Every time he feels pain, he looks at me and says, “Sowee,” with pouting lips. Every time he accidentally bumps into something, he says, “Sowee.” Every time he feels uncomfortable, he says, “Sowee.” He does all this with eyes that seem to reassure me that saying sorry can heal physical pain.

The toddler’s innocence reminds me that asking for forgiveness must be intentional and heartfelt. We are not perfect—we hurt others through our words and actions, just as they hurt us. Saying sorry can sometimes be very, very difficult, but saying it with intention can free us from pain.

Parenting is challenging, yet this is one of its most beautiful parts: our children remind us of the values we forget over time.

Maybe Xyler learned to say sorry because we once taught him, but somehow, he’s teaching us something even greater: the courage to apologize, the humility to mean it, and the power it has to heal.
