DUBpressive HIFI

DUBpressive HIFI (Reggae inna rootical style - H/HH)

Zwei Damen aus zwei verschiedenen Städten treffen sich an zwei Plattenspielern und drehen abwechselnd die Scheiben. Dabei entwickeln sie ein unvergleichliches Set, inspiriert von jamaikanischen und UK-Dub-Sounds.

DUBpressive HIFI haben Roots-Reggae, Rocksteady, Ska, Dub und Digital-Dub im Plattenkoffer, die Boxentürme, um Klang und Bass(!) den eigenen Vorstellungen anzupassen, sind im Aufbau.

Die beiden Selectress Soundshine und Waterlily haben seit 2004 - solo oder in gemeinschaftlichen Projekten (No Man No Cry Collective, Family Vibez) - bereits einige Platten gedreht und widmen sich nun der experimentellen Seite des Reggae.
