The Tweed Deluxe from True North Pedals is not just one of the coolest pedals we’ve had on the show but maybe one of the coolest pedals we’ve ever played in our lives. When Sheldon built it and sent one to Robert Keeley for some feedback Robert’s return message was that the world needed this pedal, and he’s right, we do. Sheldon has come on the show a couple of times and is just an absolutely top notch guy, and if this all weren’t cool enough he’s recently joined the team at Dingwall making some of the world’s best basses.

You might think this was an Adam Jones signature LP Standard, and you’d be wrong. This is a Woodbine singlecut that actually was made in 2019, it also spends its days touring with heavy music behemoths, Mastodon. And yes, Al thinks it’s perfect because not only is it a tear drop silverburst, but it has the standard style fretboard inlays he prefers over an custom style.

The other side of the coin from Woodbine Guitars is Woodrite Guitars. Made overseas and coming in at a price point that’s a lot more accessible Woodrite offers the same love and design style points that make their custom stuff great. Here’s a very cool silver burst in a doublecut style hinting at the SG2000 styles so en vogue with today’s doom crowd. Certainly has a powerful presence to it!
