Life’s been quite the whirlwind lately, but I wanted to drop in since it seems I’ve been MIA. Truth is,I’ve been taking a much more intentional approach to the bookings I accept. Working with clients whose vision aligns with my creative goals and intentions has become increasingly important to me as I’ve entered into a new season here. So, if you love my work, don’t be hesitant to reach out despite my lack of posting on this account! If you’re getting married I recommend reaching out to me as early as possible to reserve your date as I’m only taking 10 weddings in 2024 and 2025. Friendly reminder, I’ll go anywhere ✈️

I guess it’s about time I show my face over here so y’all can get to know the girl behind the Pines! Here’s a few things you should probably know about me:

Texas is home, but I'm always on the move. My bags stay packed and I’m always ready to explore new places and try new things! ✈️

🥂 A bottle of champagne, raw oysters, and great conversation make the perfect evening in my opinion. Not a fan? Queso and Miller Lights work just fine too.

I also work in the music industry, it’s my main gig but High Pines Media has become my creative outlet. Balancing these "two lives" gives me the freedom I need to be happy and they collide more often than you'd think. Need a first dance song? I've got you covered!

Hazel, my Australian shepherd, is my freckly, fluffy road dog and my best friend. She's a city girl by zip code but has a farm dog heart– just like her owner.

I’m a BIGGGG hat and sneakers girl.. My collection of both is a little over the top and I have zero self control over.

I thrive working with couples who value creative storytelling through the lens, appreciate frame-worthy photos, and choose to celebrate love on their terms.

Sharing some black and white snapshots from The Robinson Wedding. This year, I aimed to be more intentional in my personal and professional life, and I'm carrying into 2024. Personally, it's about surrounding myself with those who lift me up and leaving behind people and things that no longer serve the good in my life. Professionally, it's capturing moments with purpose. While some may seem random, each image in this series tells a story, like the special batch of beer brewed by the bride's dad or the groomsmen sneaking out to decorate the getaway car, the chaos during group photos and a couple sharing a moment alone after a long but wonderful day. It's those genuine moments that make it all worthwhile. Cheers to intentional living in 2024

The number one thing I tell my brides is not to rush your wedding day, especially before the ceremony. If you want genuine hugs, real hand holds, smiles.. you need time. You want the “pretty photos” then you need time. Trust me, for your sanity and your photographers.. you’ll be glad that the day wasn’t rushed because you made the time! Just checking in to let everyone know that I’m alive and well! It’s been a record breaking fall wedding season and I couldn’t be more thankful for my couples, associate and second shooters, and friends and family for the tremendous support you’ve shown this little business of mine. It means the absolute world! If you’re looking for me, just know the entire month of November, I’ll most likely be tucked away in my office, drinking way too much coffee and working to deliver all of your fall galleries!
