Buccaneers Reef: is an Age of Sail and Pirates/Privateers themed indy Video Game Development company & Maritime Historical Literature publisher with numerous (TM)s trademarks and patents pending. Not only is our company in the business of publishing historical maritime essays and books, we also own and develop our own very capable video game engine - MAELSTROM(TM) which is underpinning a whole new series of both free and commercially available pirate and age of sail themed games, DLC downloadable scenarios and digital items. In addition, MAELSTROM(TM) is capable of running the older STORM engine based video games flawlessly - without all of the bugs and crashes that were endemic and problematic to the entire Sea Dogs series of games. We are a small indy dev team but have done some great things and the doors are just opening up to us to do even more AMAZING new things in the near future - which we believe will stun both the video gaming and historical interest communities. We are doing things right now in video games that have never been done before!
