As written by Colette Lala:
Have you heard the news? Scott and I have a YouTube channel! Over the years when I give Classic Hollywood film assignments on Day Drinking I’ve come across many films that are in the public domain. These are films where the copyright holder has neglected to renew the copyright meaning anyone can post or watch these films pretty much anywhere. There are some exceptions like if silent films have updated the soundtracks and the music is protected. Anyhow, we decided to post these films for our listeners (and the general public) so they’ll all be in one place and easily accessible. We will create the biggest online library of public domain films. We already 80+ films on our channel and we’re adding more every day.
🎥🍸🎥🍸🎥
It would help us out tremendously if you could please subscribe to our channel. There are other channels out there like ours, but what I’ve noticed is that they’ve uploaded a handful of films over a few months and then they give up and stop adding to the channel. We’re not going to do that. This is a years long project that we hope will allow people to watch these films from a decent print for free. The easiest way to find our channel to subscribe is to type “publicdomainclassics888” into the search bar. Already you’ll find early Hitchcock films, Shirley Temple in A Little Princess (my personal fave), Audrey Hepburn, John Travolta, Elizabeth Taylor, Agatha Christie and more. Please go subscribe and enjoy the channel!

As an offshoot of sorts from the Day Drinking With Scott & Colette podcast we are compiling a YT channel of Public Domain films. Please subscribe. You won't get silly emails or anything like that. And get your friends to sub. Or your kids, parents, grandkids, neighbors. Anybody you know. We want to eventually have the most complete set of public domain films available on our channel.

Day Drinkers, as you know we often assign films that are in the public domain. Instead of having you guys search for them or come across a crappy print, we have decided to create our own channel and library of these films. Some we've already picked, some we will in the future, but all are free to watch. Please do us a solid and subscribe to our channel. Subscriptions help us immensely. We are adding films daily and we will eventually have a huge library of films for you right at your fingertips. Thanks everyone!
