Spotted a couple of these BYD Sealion 7s around Sydney now, as the company prepares to launch the vehicle in the coming months. It's a good looking car, and priced right should become a solid seller for BYD. While we don't know which variants will be available yet, searching the registration database for sequential plate numbers shows 3 vehicles with 3 different weights currently registered in NSW. Expect a 72kWh single-motor base model, and 81kWh mid-range spec and an 81kWh dual-motor performance variant with 390kW. Should get little Jimmy to soccer practice reasonably fast.
