..into a good book. This one will not disappoint.

The Wilds by is a tale full of twists. It follows a Detective, Elin, who is supposed to be taking a break from work to reconnect with herself and her brother. Needless to say, it's not the getaway she thought it would be.

It's just a real page turner. I was so very taken with the characters; artist Keir 🎨 and Detective Elin. They were both incredible in their parts. Keir created maps depicting places important to her, so it only seemed fitting that I should read this book in a place that's important to me too. Find me between the buzzing bees rereading this brilliant thriller 🐝

A little of us.

It's been over 3 years since we managed to escape for a full night, but it was worth the wait and such a good way to celebrate the hubs' birthday last weekend.

A trip of luxury; starting with treatment at the Devonshire spa, dinner at the brasserie, and a stay in the Herbert royale suit. Followed by a little walk to the priory and village to grab a little gift for the kiddos. I don't think I'll ever be bored of the Yorkshire countryside.

It was so nice to just be us for a moment. Sending thanks to nanna for making it possible and sitting with the kids. 🥰

We love white chocolate in our houseand these are a joy. They're the perfect treat with that crumbly iconic digestive biscuit taste and the smoothest white chocolate.

A week with the boys.

Annual birthday week off for hubs. With Delilah at school, I'm outnumbered.

We're gearing up for our first night away from Euan ever (and he's 3, so it's been a long time coming) Nana is being the best and stepping in for a sleepover while we go have a spa and dinner experience somewhere special. I'm very excited to have an excuse to get dressed up.

I'm just hoping this one is good for Nana 😅

When our Croods themed party happened 🖌

Thanks to & Delilah and Euan had a rock painting party with their cousin !! They had so much fun with our gifted pack.

We rock painted, coloured, ate our Croods mini tarts and then bashed Uncle Ollie... because every family party ends up bashing Uncle Ollie, so why not do it caveman style 🪨

🍭How sweet it is to care for you🍭

We received this cry babies' newborn doll in return for our honest review.

Ask my girl if she loves (and anything else cry babies come to that), and her answer will be a resounding yesss!

Delilah was crazy excited to have her paws on this, and so was her little brother. With glowing cheeks, real tears, and cute baby sounds; Coney has been a hit! It also has an off switch, so no haunted after-hours screeching or crying (which we all know can be creepy as anything).

Coney comes with an interactive bracelet that allows the doll to settle in the arms of the one wearing it, which Delilah adores. She also comes with a hospital name tag, a bottle, a rattle, and the cutest hooded blanket 😍

Thank you so very much this was a huge hit and the kids have not put it down yet 💖

I've used this product for 3, almost 4 weeks, and I couldn't be more pleased with my results. This product unclogs pores and keeps the breakouts at bay. My skin feels incredible, and this product has worked wonders for those tricky/spotty skin moments. I would wholeheartedly recommend it, and it is staying in my routine.

It's been a little minute, but we've been using up our holiday and trying to fill it with some sweet memories.

Delilah turned 6! We spent her birthday camping in a little pod, and she will tell you her favourite bit was sleeping in a bunk bed and being at the seaside.

Euan's favourite bit was making sure no one slept when we were camping in the pod, with a close second of donuts and birthday cake(which I managed not squish on the trip there 👌).

We've bowled with Delilah's bestie, consumed enough candyfloss for an army, and spent some very lovely sunny moments in the garden.

I hope the holidays have been good to you 🥰

We said goodbye to her on Saturday. Poor babe had cancer and lost her eyesight too, so the decision had to be made.

The memories I have will last my whole life through.

That time, she got in a box of plates on top of my wardrobe and then broke the entire box when she got out by knocking the whole thing off.

That time her and Bella brought me a pack of basil from the kitchen?

That time, she peed on my favourite leather jacket, and I couldn't get the smell out

All those times she climbed on top of the coat stand to dive-bomb me and sit on my shoulders like a parrot.

All those times, she snuggled right into my neck and purred so loudly, padding out my shoulder.

Every moment she was my shadow, every naughty second, the wrecked parts of the house, the stolen dinners, the cat litter spread everywhere; I'll be missing her.

Mum life- needing kitchen roll is pretty standard.

I have received this product free from influenster and plenty in exchange for my honest review, so here it is.

I liked this product, but i didnt love it. As far as kitchen paper towels go for hand mop ups I can not fault it. Its absorbant and as stated you can wring it out which is amazing. I know the purposeof no roll is less waste, but nearing the end of the roll it makes it flimsy and hard to rip a sheet off so for that reason it does get one less point. Brilliant kitchen roll but not so easy use at the end of a roll... I'd still make thr purchase.

🌞Son-shine 🌞

Enjoying the cold in this moment; because in the next we were cursing because Euan fell asleep on the walk home and he weights a ton now and Delilah had a full blown melt down because she had snow in her wellie. I then had to dig out my polytent/greenhouse of the snow because the weight of the snow snapped all the joints and totalled everything.

Although the seeds were saved, so that's a bonus 👌

It's been a little minute, I guess sometimes I don't know where I'm going because I'm buried in all this mothering and life stuff and so we bumble along.

But when we slow down for a little minute, we see more in-depth and take stock of the moment a little bit better.

Here's what we thought!

As a regular alternative milk user, I thought this was pretty banging. It sounds strange as hell, but once you taste it, it is brill.

If you can get past the fact it's made from peas to start with (hubs couldn't hack it) and get it in your usual drinks or on your cereal, it really is lovely. So much so I'm on the hunt for it to replace my usual alt milk, and our local supermarket doesn't stock it yet which has upset me no end.

Up with pea milk. Up with WUNDA!

Hello November 👋

October, you dealt us a handful of crunchy leaves and crunchy-er feels. It's been a month of it, and I'm very happy to be welcoming a new month. Tiny dump to summarise the good bits 🎃💋

Here's to a life change, here's to happy days and here's to making our own luck! And here's to Christmas prep time. I'm not sorry in the slightest at the fact I am 100% hyped up for the Christmas season!

November brings us, hairdressers, dance shows, parents evening (oh that should be a barrel of laughs) photo shoots, theatre trips, new business and a little more social media activity. Come on November, let's have a good one 🤎

I've been loving this!

I have been sent this product by and in exchange for my honest review. So here it is, my little honest review!

I saw the biggest, brightest difference on my first use. It really woke up my skin up. Its silky, easily absorbed and none sticky, left my skin glowy. It's not greasy in the slightest, you only need a couple of drops per use and thr packaging is simple and neat.

It's a really lovely product, and I'd happily use it again but I still have a favourite which it doesn't quite top.

I would however, certainly recommend it, it's a great boost of vit c for your face!

We received this lovely Lamaze Colourful Journey Caterpillar through a promotion through influenster and Tomy toys in exchange for our honest review.

It's a really lovely baby toy, but exactly that. It's very suited to younger babies. My boy is 18 months so it kept his interest for a little while. He enjoyed the squeaky press page, and the bright colours but it's been quickly forgotten about for him.

Brilliant concept, but for younger babies. I would buy as a gift for a little one, and it'd be pretty sweet as an Xmas gift too!!

It's been a few of those weeks.

The excitement of the school return has been replaced with unsettled and upset for some, Delilah being one of those "some".

It's a battle to get her dressed and out the door without her being full on distracted by every other tiny thing, then small things at school have not helped settle her.

We are staying positive. Were on to another week already, and the weekend is here and we've a bunch to do. Hopefully the 3 day weekend will help with the transition back a little more.

When they struggle, parents struggle. Check in time; you okay hun? How's it going? How much caffeine did you consume this week 😅

Parenting; a walk in the park... Jurassic Park!

How cute are these Toomies Spin and Hatch Dino Eggs?!

Euan adores this toy, absolutely loves it. Go to every morning when we come downstairs to play. Pressing the spinner is his favourite, fab for his moto skills which means a happy mama too.

Colour matching, fine moto skills, counting, learning dinosaurs. This is a brilliant early education toy and gets the mark of approval from the whole family. Even Delilah likes to help her little brother with this one (and occasionally needs a reminder that it need to be shared 🤣)

Teething AND a leap.

Oh this chap is suffering hard core. Teething and leaping all over the place.

His appetite has changed, majorly. His sleep patterns have changed. Nap time is illusive, and the poor guy needs his nap (and so does mama).

Fingers crossed we have a better day tomorrow, because today was hellish for him. And us. Its so hard to watch them so tired but not being able to help them sleep.

My little grouch bag; Needless to say this picture is not from today, but I do love it so.

We've been freezing yogurt in to drops and using ice and ice pops for him to chomp since he's not all that into food at the moment.

What's your top tip for Teething survival?
