We just had the dedication for the new behavioral health center that has my sculpture “The Journey” in front of it.

We had a Native American blessing and acknowledgment of the first people who were here.

It was so wonderful.

I’m so proud that so many people feel like this piece reflects how they they feel about this place- that it’s a beacon of hope.

I love it because I think it tells the essence of our journey here together. We’ve all been in the place of each of these figures. Sometimes we need help, sometimes we can give help, and sometimes we can shine a light for others.

The best we can do is reach out for and accept help when we need it, offer help when we can give it, and shine a light so others can feel hope and see the way when we are able.

Thank you Adamsculpture Schultz, Jody Shadduck McNally, and Herb Saperstone for the photos!

We’re getting close now! The big pieces are in, we’ll be in tent B. I still have some tickets- if you need them message ...
