🔥She taught me a great lesson…

My family and I had an opportunity to spend a week in Lake Powell with five other close friends and their families.

my daughter had never wake surfed before and was very hesitant. You can see the look of fear on her face in that first picture.

We talked for a bit about pushing through the fear and that me and my good friend would be there to help her along the way.

Then I gave her some space to think it through and make her own decision. A Couple of minutes later she had decided to move forward.

We gave her some quick training and coaching before we got her into the water and then with some help from my buddy we were able to get her up on the wakeboard for the first time.

It was awesome! She was so excited when she got done you can see it on her face in the last picture there.

She reinforced a lesson I’ve learned but needed to be reminded of.

1. Push through the fear
2. Trust those that have been there before you.
3. Be coachable
4. Give it your all!
5. Have fun!
