Raised by a single mother was tough as you can imagine, i mean raising kids as a couple is tough so take out the 2x ability to take care of the day to day tasks and your left with a hand full of to do's and alot more stress. See normally with couple's one works or has other life duties/hobbies well the other can fill in and spend 'TIME' watching the kids, playing, feeding, bathing etc. In my scena
rio there was no 'TIME' i mean dont get me wrong my mother loves me more than anything and that's eactly the 'PROBLEM'. Not a problem in a bad way but a problem in the sense that in order to provide me with everything she wanted like nice clothes, sports equipment, summer camps, video games, skate boards, school supplies the list goes on and on. She had to WORK, WORK, WORK! which in the end was great because it supplied me with everything she had wanted but the one thing you can never get back and what she had to give up with me was 'TIME'. Fast forward to me finishing college where i took Travel And Tourism and got a job right out the gate as a tour guide. What kind of tour guide you ask? well the fun kind of course. I've always been a bit of a joker/class clown but all jokes aside I truly love meeting/helping new people. I love learning about other's cultures, culinary, and social activities, what they do for fun and their hobbies/interests. So the type of tour guide i became was for people all around the world who would come to Toronto to study English as a second language. Well they were in these language schools in Toronto, some for a couple of years and other's just a couple of months I would take them around the city and do small activities like play soccer, shoot pool, go bowling, downtown tours even ice skating which most of them had never even seen ice before lol. I would also take them on out of town trips we would do french Canada from Thursday to Monday this would consist of Quebec, Montreal and Ottawa. we would also travel to places in the States like New York, Chicago, Boston, Washington and even panama city Florida. As amazing as this job was for the 2 and a half years i was there i eventually had to move on, sad to think what i could possibly do next to fill this void. But was lucky enough to find just the replacement job, working on cruise ships. The whole travelling and meeting new people from all over the world was still the most important to me. Getting flown across the world to Singapore fromToronto was my next move, and boy was it ever exciting! I remember being so nervous, afraid, and overwhelmed. Ahead of time i had researched information on cruise ships like how big they were, what was onboard, basicaly just an overall on what to expect but nothing could prepare me for how amazing, astonishing and breathtaking it actually was to see one fisrt hand. I was speechless my jaw hit the floor I stood there amazed and so excited for this new adventure i was about to begin. My job for the next 3 years was as a guest entertainer (not that type of entertainment lol) I would play sports and run activities during the day for example. soccer, basketball, shuffle board, ping pong tournaments, pol side events like water volleyball or sexiest leg competitions( haha so maybe i was that type of entertainer) In the evening we would host different trivia games in the bars located throughout the ship do game shows and even host theme parties. Ahh those were the days wearing afro wigs and big glittery gold shirts doing the YMCA or being the sailor in the village people. The perks of cruise life other than having and providing fun for everyone everyday was meeting new people, learning about them and their families. Helping them make the most of their vacation whether playing sports with the kids, shuffle board with the grand parents or dancing the night away with mom & dad. This was 'TIME' well spent together for the families and this type of trip or cruise for a family to take part in was very 'COSTLY' for the most part the parents had saved for multiple YEARS and most even got second part time jobs for those years just to be able to afford the trip. So what could i possibly do now after being a tour guide & working on cruise ships, meeting so many people from literally all over the world? well i went back to regular ordinary 9-5 pm jobs for the next 5 years i did Construction, Landscaping, Sales, Serving, Management and even became a GM of an entertainment company. Was making pretty good money as well about $80,000. but was working DAY & NIGHT WEEKDAYS, WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS,LONG WEEKENDS, BIRTHDAYS you name it i was WORKING it. After 5 years I had enough, I needed that sense of FREEDOM back, I needed to be able to TRAVEL, I needed to have TIME, to be with my FRIENDS & FAMILY. I started my story talking about TIME, MONEY,and FREEDOM which I've seen first hand my Mother, aunts/uncles, cousins, friends, basically everyone around me give up. It was December 15th of 2016 when i thought to myselfI DO NOT WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE there has to be some way, some how to be SUCCESSFUL in life to have MONEY, TIME and FREEDOM and that's exactly what I've done. I Started working online doing what I am PASSIONATE about what i ENJOY most in LIFE and it's been the most rewarding decision ive ever made. It's 2017 out with the ordinary 9-5 jobs and in with the future the INTERNET an ever growing ever changing BEAUTIFUL NEW WAY TO MAKE MONEY AND HAVE THE FREEDOM AND TIME YOU DESERVE! HUGE THANKS to friends of mine who made this all POSSIBLE since the start of this year I've been able to have the 'TIME' and 'FREEDOM' to travel the world once again and meet AMAZING NEW PEOPLE along the way. So far I've conquered South East Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Singapore again)
and somewhere a little colder Alaska ( Juneau, Seward, Anchorage, Ketchikan, Icy Strait)
