He started his rap career at an early age, but was pulled away by the streets, and a life of crime. In 2000, he found himself incarcerated in the Texas Prison System. Returning in 2003, this young hustler set the streets on fire, introducing the south to Big Cuddy Click, a group that consists of himself, his younger brother D-Ray, and Uncle Player B. The Big Cuddy Click released "Loven the Country
" in 2004 and "Real Definition of tha Game" in 2006. Later in 2006, Goldie teamed up with Pimp C's artist, Vicious of X-MOB / UGK Records, to put together one of the hardest underground CDs in 2008 titled, "Small Town Gangstas." In 2009, Goldie releases 3 more projects, "Thousand & Eight Grams," "Underground Hoggs" (with Player B), and "Last O.G. Then in late 2009, after gaining much notoriety on the underground southern scene, Goldie unfortunately returned to prison, which put his aspiring music career on hold once again. During this time, the independent game saw many new faces and drastic changes. However, upon his release in 2012, Goldie immediately took off right where he left off before his incarceration, recording two whole new albums entitled, "Ghetto Blues" and "High Life" set to be released in the Spring and Summer of 2013.
