Casting call!! Like I said, this industry is mines and I’m taking over everything, I’m creating a black- comedy- drama sitcom called “The Life of Romeo” where I’ll be the star and this show will be similar to the tv shows of “Martin”, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with Tyler Perry Madea Comedy Vibes blended with a smooth vibe like the “The Jamie Foxx Show” mixed 1990’s “Moesha” tv show theme vibes! We film in January! Filming takes place in Charlotte,NC and all roles are paid. Season 1 will consist of 3 episodes being 1hr long and will be filmed 1 episode per month will a red carpet premiere in Charlotte,NC in the summer time of 2025! Sypnosis- The Life of Romeo follows Romeo King, a talented yet struggling indie filmmaker in his 30s, as he navigates the highs and lows of pursuing his dreams.
Character Breakdown
Romeo King- ALREADY CASTED
Personality: Charismatic, quick-witted, and full of dreams, but struggles with self-doubt and depression. Romeo uses humor to mask his inner turmoil and remains hopeful despite numerous setbacks.
Background: An indie filmmaker from Miami now living in Charlotte, NC. He's known for his creativity and charm but is seeking a breakthrough in Hollywood or building his own independent film empire.
Zaria Wells
Personality: Independent, driven, and supportive, but also practical and no-nonsense. She loves Romeo but is frustrated by his lack of progress and instability. She’s a strong, modern woman with her own ambitions.
Background: An entrepreneur who juggles her own career while supporting Romeo. She’s used to dealing with ups and downs but struggles to balance her relationship with her professional life.
Darius "D" Johnson
Personality: Loyal, wild, and always hustling. Known for his unpredictable nature and unwavering support for Romeo. His antics often lead to trouble but are always entertaining.
Background: Romeo’s best friend from childhood, juggling multiple side gigs and constantly looking for the next big break. He’s a source of comic relief and trouble for the group.
Lisa "Red" Williams
Personality: Flirty, dramatic, and protective. She’s a master of throwing shade but deeply cares about Romeo. Her dramatic flair often adds spice and conflict to the group dynamics.
Background: Romeo’s ex who remains in the friend circle. She’s a hairstylist with a knack for drama and a complicated history with Romeo.
Jamal "Jay" Henderson
Personality: Quiet, nerdy, and sarcastic. He’s the calm, collected one of the group, often providing witty commentary and offbeat humor. His dream of writing comic books adds a unique layer to his character.
Background: Works in IT and is an aspiring comic book writer. Jay is often the voice of reason and provides a quieter, intellectual perspective.
Keisha "Keke" Williams
Personality: Street-smart, slick, and fiercely loyal. She knows how to navigate tricky situations and has a tough exterior but is caring and protective of her friends.
Background: Jay’s cousin and Lisa’s best friend. Keke is savvy and has a knack for turning situations to her advantage, often using her street smarts to help the group.
Uncle Bo
Personality: Eccentric, fun-loving, and full of offbeat wisdom. Known for his colorful stories and humorous advice, he’s a source of both comic relief and unexpected guidance.

Aunt Trina
