Do you regularly UPDATE all of your devices?

Before you dismiss that update notification like yesterday’s pizza, hear me out…here are 3 reasons you should keep ALL your devices (phones, tablets, routers, etc.) regularly UPDATED:

Imagine hackers trying to sneak into your phone like ninjas after your pizza stash. Updates are like “sharks with laser” ( ) , zapping those digital bad guys before they can steal your precious selfies and bank info. Stay safe, stay updated!

2. Speed Demon Unleashed!
Is your phone slower than a sloth on a Sunday? Updates can be like rocket fuel for your device, blasting away lags and making it run smoother than a freshly waxed surfboard!

3. New Features: It’s Like Christmas!
Updates are like surprise presents for your phone! New features, bug fixes, and compatibility upgrades - kind of like getting a new gadget for your utility-belt without breaking the bank. Who wouldn’t want that?

Soooo….have I convinced you?

Go get those devices updated!

Please be cautious when choosing security questions on public websites. Don’t choose ones that can easily be answered by someone doing a little research on you.⁠
⁠
Example: You post on social media about how you and your pet Shadow (perfect pet name for a Batman fan 🤣) are having a great day together. It just so happens your security question for your bank’s site is “your pet’s name”. You have just given a potential hacker the possibility to change your password and access your bank account.

“So Dale, what do you do?” Well, I believe in misdirection. I’ll look at the other questions that I’m offered and I’ll answer the “pet question” with the city I was born in, or my best friend’s name and vise-versa.⁠
⁠
On sites that don’t allow you to create your own security questions, I’ll turn on the 2-factor authentication.

To wrap, I have two questions for you:

1- Are you team dog or team cat

2- Depending on your answer to the first question, drop a 🐈 or 🐶 in the comments if from here on out you will try this tip and use misdirection when answering security questions 👊🏻

Try to never post key information like how much money you just spent, physical addresses, email addresses, mobile phone numbers, account numbers, passwords or the fact you’re on a whirlwind vacation! You’d be surprised that people actually do this.⁠

Always remember to be mindful of what’s in the background of the photos you’re posting. Is your house address visible, your vehicle’s license plate, or the sticky-note on your monitor with your password written down on it…⁠

This has me fuming! My grandson was playing his favorite Hot Wheels game on his Amazon Kids Tablet (which is configured with a children's profile). While ads weren't an issue in the past, he's been getting them between levels lately, which is annoying. However, the ad that popped up this time, 'Twerk Race 3D,' is completely unacceptable!

Where's the protection for our children on a device specifically designed for them? Shame on ,
