For most Augusta-area basketball lovers, the Nike EYBL Peach Jam that comes annually to North Augusta was a chance extend their innate love for the game by watching the nation’s most elite prospects duke it out for Nike Circuit supremacy.

Tyler Newsome was among one of three CSRA golfers to card top-15 placement during the first round of the AJGA Vaughn Taylor Golf Championship during Tuesday's first round at Bartram Trail Golf Course in Evans. The next round of the 54-hole tournament starts Wednesday at 8 a.m.
