The Local Government Unit (LGU) has suspended classes in Silang due to a volcanic smog alert. As a precautionary measure, the LGU has recommended a shift from face-to-face learning to modular distance learning on August 19, 2024.

Taal Volcano remains under Alert Level 1 as of this morning. Students are strongly advised to remain at home and wear masks for their safety. Please stay tuned for further announcements regarding class activities and schedules.

Dahil sa pagkakaroon ng volcanic smog mula sa Bulkang Taal, ang lahat ng klase sa lahat ng antas, parehong sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan, ay suspendido sa Agosto 19, 2024. Bukod dito, lahat ng mga aktibidad sa paaralan ay kanselado.

Upang matiyak na magpapatuloy ang pag-aaral, ipapatupad natin ang Modular Distance Learning (MDL) sa panahong ito. Ang mga g**o ay makikipag-ugnayan sa mga mag-aaral at magulang upang ipaliwanag ang mga detalye ng MDL at kung paano ito isasagawa.

Mariin naming ipinapayo na manatili sa loob ng bahay at unahin ang kaligtasan. Ang inyong kalusugan at kapakanan ang aming pangunahing priyoridad sa mga panahong ito.

The entire community of Rogationist College celebrated the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary through an institutional mass delivered by the school rector Fr. Wesley M. Taguibao, RCJ on August 15, 2024, Thursday at St. Francis Sports Center, marking the first mass of the academic year of 2024-2025.

During his homily, Fr. Wesley focused on three actions one could embark on to develop their connection with the Almighty further. To look at the greatness of God in your life, as God has done great things in Mary's life; to be thankful, 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘰𝘤𝘶𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨; to be selfless, as Mary kept God and people (Deus et Proximus) at the center of her Magnificat.

May the community approach the year ahead embodying these lessons, and commemorate the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary by honoring the greatness of the Lord.

Good day, RCians! Kindly be informed that there will be an institutional mass to seek the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary tomorrow, August 15, 2024, at 9:00 AM. The mass will be held at the gymnasium, and the attendance sheets will be in front of the auditorium 30 minutes before the activity.

New students are advised to wear proper civilian attire, while returning students are expected to wear their uniforms. Let us come together to seek the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the opening of the school year.

Yesterday, the students of Rogationist College were greeted with a warm greeting as they arrived at RC for the start of the new academic year. The welcome event was themed "Messis: RCians’ Stride ‘24-‘25." The day started off with a series of engaging games and raffles that made the event more exciting and helped freshmen, sophomores, and seniors get to know each other as they began their journey at the college.

A quote cited by Mr. Alejandro Musico, “Stepping Back, Stepping Up, Stepping Out,” is a statement that helps the students understand the importance of our decisions in life and our capabilities to decide what is good for us and help us grow. It serves as an inspirational reminder for students to face their fears and recognize their inner potential.

The Rogationist community organized a surprise farewell gathering for Father Zander, which was attended by the faculty and student leaders.

In 2022, Father Zander commenced his service as the dean of Rogationist College, a role he faithfully fulfilled until the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. Father Zander will leave for a bigger calling for his mission in Papua New Guinea.

During the event, heartfelt moments were shared as the community expressed their appreciation for the departing dean.

Father Zander extended his sincere thanks to the Rogationist community and expressed optimism about his new mission, sharing his commitment to continue the practice of kindness that has always been important to his values. The event ended with a simple lunch for the celebration.

Carlos Yulo, a male athlete in artistic floor gymnastics exercise, has brought pride to the Philippines after he aced his performance, scoring 15.000 in the finals.

He made history as the first male Philippine athlete to win an Olympic medal and the first Olympic medal in artistic gymnastics.

Lagi't lagi, para sa bayan! Warmest congratulations from the RCians community!

Carlos Yulo hands the Philippines its first medal in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, finishing with a GOLD in the men’s floor exercise finals!

This also makes Yulo the first Filipino gymnast to have a podium finish in the Olympics.

Within the core of Rogationist College, two figures stood out, capturing the hearts of many RCians – the Montaño brothers, Kerth and Normandy. Together, they are the admired students of the college department, blending charm, talent, and intellect in a way that many admire.

Normandy is crowned Mr. Asia Pacific Prince International and also represents the school nationally taking home the crown of Mr. IECEP Cavite 2023 and Mr. IECEP Nationals 2023.

Kerth said, "The education is good, and I am really satisfied, especially when it comes to the people because they are approachable and easy to get along with."

𝙁𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩

Last Monday, July 1, the Rogationist community celebrated with gratitude the 138th year of the feast of July the First. It started with a procession, followed by an hour of adoration and holy mass. The celebration culminated in an Agape meal shared by all those who participated in the feast. Members of the Union of Prayers for Vocations from the St. Hannibal Empowerment Centre in Pasay and Parañaque, seminarians and priests from the St. Hannibal Formation Centre in Manila, the Di Francia Centre of Studies, and different Rogationist communities were present to witness and join this major celebration in the life of the Rogationist community.

The Feast of July the First is an annual commemoration and celebration of the first exposition of the Holy Host and the celebration of the first Mass of St. Hannibal in the slums of Avignone, Italy. Avignone is a poor community in Italy, which can be likened to the poor ghettos of today’s reality, where St. Hannibal chose to live with its people.

The Merit Scholarship Program of 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃) is now accepting applicants.

The 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐂𝐌𝐒𝐏) is a government-funded scholarship aimed at supporting academically talented students, especially those who belong to the following special groups:
1. Underprivileged and homeless citizens (RA 7279);
2. Persons with Disability (RA 7277): and
3. Solo parents and/or their dependents (RA 8371).

The scholarship is 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 who want to pursue their undergraduate studies in 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 in private higher education institutions (HEls) or State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs).

A qualified student may be awarded a 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 (₱𝟏𝟐𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎) or 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 (₱𝟔𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎.𝟎𝟎) 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 under the State Scholarship and Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA). The financial assistance may cover tuition and other fees, as well as a monthly stipend for living expenses.

𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙋 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

NSTP students from the Cluster of Engineering and Technical Education and Mrs. Vicky Vicedo, held an outreach program at Lalaan II, Silang, Cavite, on June 10, Monday, in which the students provided food packs to 50 families.

NSTP students described it as their best experience, with the children’s smiles and laughter making the day memorable. Participants were grateful for the opportunity to serve the less privileged in line with the values of St. Hannibal.
