About the song, she shares, “I’ve always had a soft spot for Christmas songs so writing one myself felt quite natural. However, with the increasing capitalization of Christmas (and everything else in general), especially during hard times, comes with a bittersweet taste. I wanted my song to avoid the classic cheerfulness of a Christmas song. “Ox and Lamb” is about dreading the pressure of spending when you have nothing to spend. But in the end realizing and appreciating what Christmas really is about.”

We’re excited to share El Perro del Mar’s new EP ‘Big Anonymous for Organ’ — a stripped-back reimagining of three key tracks from the album ‘Big Anonymous’, which we released back in February. These reworks breathing new life into the themes of grief, resilience, and healing.
