We are happy to announce our official collaboration with HUNT magazine

Over the past year, we have regularly featured their content in the news section of the most popular hunting app in Europe. As a truly European Magazine with articles by the leading people writers and photographers in the industry, this partnership is a natural fit.

Not simply another hunting magazine, HUNT magazine takes a broader perspective, exploring the history, future and different traditions of hunting around the world, in its biannual publication.

Our apps have grown to be the most used and downloaded hunting apps in Europe since its founding in 2018, with almost 500.000 downloads as of writing, helping users organise their experiences before, during and after the hunt. They feature many of the leading publications, as well news and updates from local and national associations, in their in-app news section.

‘The traditional route into the art of gunmaking is through apprenticeships. In both London and Birmingham that tradition is still followed by fine gunmaking companies. Apprenticeships will now last five to seven years by which time the individual – and the company - will probably have got a good idea of their talents for employment for the next 40 years. Also, at the end of that indenture period, all UK apprentices can present their work to the Certification Panel of the Worshipful Company of Gunmakers of the City of London for examination and graduation to become a journeyman.’ 📖

“The Golden Eagle is called the king of birds because of its size, weight, and supreme mastery of the air. Taking advantage of thermal updrafts, it climbs rapidly without any effort. It soars high above the mountain peaks, without a single wing beat it soars across several valleys, sometimes covering a distance of several kilometres. Its flight is far faster than it seems. The impression of slowness is caused by the vast spread of its wings, which can be up to 2 metres. It was determined that in gliding flight the eagle attains a speed up to 150 kilometres an hour and if there is a favourable wind from behind it can flight up to a 190 kilometres an hour.”

It has been a rough road but we’re here: Vol. Two Issue. I of HUNT Magazine is finally in production. 2020 was an unusual and challenging year for all over us -- with travel restrictions and other barriers, hunting was reduced drastically all across the world, and even stopped in some countries.

The process of putting this issue together was heavily impacted, too. But we’ve made it and we’re excited to finally be able to share it with all of you.

Time to vote for your favorite hunting video.

The 30 finalists in The Hunting Video Awards 2021 have been found.

This year the Hunting Video Awards received more videos than ever before in the history of the award. Hunting videos and clips from a total of 28 countries on 6 continents have been submitted and the quality in storytelling and production are some of the best seen so far. The 8 jury members, which are a mix of people from the hunting industry and outstanding hunting content creators, had a big task in front of them when they began watching all the videos submitted.

The jury have finally reached a decision and the 30 finalists in the 5 categories have been selected:
- Aimpoint Hunting Video - 10 finalists - Open for voting
- Hunting Clip - 5 finalists - Open for voting
- Hunting Video - 5 finalists - Open for voting
- Professional Hunting Video - 5 finalists - The jury will decide the winner
- The Community Honour Award 5 nominees - The Monocular will decide the winner
