The Dry River, Crybaby Press' literary magazine focused on Los Angeles' physical and cultural landscape, is now a sponsored project of our new fiscal sponsor, Creative Visions, a global nonprofit that sparks awareness and ignites change through impact media, the arts, education and technology.

We just launched our first online fundraiser to raise money for our second and third issue!

All donations made through this fundraiser are tax-deductible and help us pay our creative contributors, compensating our editorial staff, and printing with a sustainable LA-based printer.

In an industry that largely underpays creatives, Crybaby Press and The Dry River are committed to paying fair rates. Out of our estimated budget of 6.7k, $2,885 is being paid to creatives, including our designers, photographers, artists, and writers. Your support will help us continue to provide funding directly to the creatives comprising the work of The Dry River.
