SHORT FILM CONTEST FH STRALSUND 2012: ENTRY CONDITIONS
CONTESTANTS
1º.- Any member of the FH-Stralsund community is entitled to take part in the contest.
2º.- Every contestant should fill in the personal details sheet provided by the organization. According to condition 10, a personal identification number will be assigned to all the entries.
3º.- The contestant shall declare the compli
ance with the use of the required personal details by the organization.
4º.- The Winners will show an identification document (ID, student card, etc.) SHORT FILMS REQUIREMENTS
5º.- All kind of recording devices, video and audio edition programs are allowed. All short films must have a title.
6º.- The maximum duration allowed is 10 minutes, included credit titles. The format could be 3GP, MP4, MPG, FLV, AVI, MOV, MKV. Every contestant can present only one short film. In case of the use of a language other than English, it must be subtitled in English. After the sent of the entry form/personal detail sheet, the organization short will arrange (by email) a place and time to take the short films (see condition 10). They must be given in a CD, DVD or USB device with the contestant full name and short film title. The deadline to give the short fim ends on 3rd June 2012 at 00:00h.
7º.- The organization reserves the right to exclude any film containing offensive, violent, sexist, racist scenes, or if it infringes the human rights.
8º.- The contestants are responsible for the nonuse of the Copyright. The contestans are also responsible for the use in their films of musical compositions property of third party. They are required to have the permission for the use of their image in writting from the people which appear in the film to avoid any claims, excempting the organization of all responsabilty. Should an audio track be used with the recording of a sound which is property from a record company without their permission. There are available on-line resources that the public in general are free to use.
9º.- By accepting these conditions, the authors of the films agree to transfer the rights of the running to the contest organization. These rights consist of reproduction, communication and public distribution, which will always be given, in recognition, to their authors, except if they express their will against. ENTRY SUBMISSION
10º.- The deadline starts on the day following the publication of these conditions and ends on 2nd June2012 at 00:00h. It is compusory to fill in an entry form (personal details sheet) for each film submitted to the contest. The entry form will be submitted by sending the entry form/personal data sheet attached in an e-mail to: [email protected]
11º.- The constest organization recommends the contestants not to leave the submission of the films to the last minute, since there might arise connection failures because of the possible high number of submissions at the same time. The organization does not take upon the responsibility for the consequences arisen from this fact, accepting only the submissions received within the stated deadline. PRIZES.
12º.- The winners will be awarded the following prizes:
Best Short Film Award: two 20-euro tickets for a meal at Salsarico (chosen by panel)
Audience Award: 10 tickets for Asta Kino, valid till the end of the year “2012”(chosen by the audience).
13º.- Prizes will not be considered cumulative. Should the Audience Award coincide in the same contestant with the prize Best Short Film Award, the second best film, according to the audience's judgement, will be the winner of the award.
14º.- The panel of the contest, chosen to that end, will be composed of the members of the organization of the Short Film Contest: Mr. Pablo Cabrera, Ms. Ana Checa, and Ms. Nuria Gimeno. DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONTEST
16º.-The contest will take place on the 5th June 2012.
17º.- The names of the two winners will be announced after the showing, and will be also published in the Contest's page.
18º.- The organization reserves the right to change these conditions, if necessary. Likewise, the organization will not be responsible for the bad or no reception of the entries.
19º.- Participating in this contest involves the full acceptance of these conditions.
