Tatler attended the preview of “Cloud Chamber”, the first institutional exhibition of works by Art Labor @artlaborcollective , a Ho Chi Minh City-based collective formed by Thao Nguyen Phan, Truong Cong Tung and Arlette Quynh-Anh Tran. Held at Para Site @parasite.hk and curated by Celia Ho, the exhibition features new works by the collective, as well as those co-created with artists from the Jrai community from the central highlands of Vietnam.
Ranging from wood-carved sculptures and instruments indigenous to the community to moving-image works, installations and drawings, the exhibits on view explore contrasting and conflicting themes such as traditional vs modernisation, and mythology vs science, and spiritual vs material. Until November 24.

Hong Kong icon Carina Lau @carinalau1208 attended Chanel’s latest Haute Joaillerie Sport event in Taipei, showcasing their new high jewellery collection. She shared the inspiration she drew from this innovative ensemble.
“Gabrielle Chanel has always been an inspiring figure to me,” Lau expressed. “Her life philosophy and the courage she demonstrated in forging her own path have consistently resonated with me.”
This particular collection, where meticulously crafted high jewellery pieces merge with dynamic movement and grace, struck a chord with Lau with its originality and innovation.
