Dub Hub in association with Lamont Hawkes have been toiling away at an exclusive in-depth interview with Toronto's most prolific live music archivist and collector... db Hawkes of CIUT 89.5 FM. With a reputation that spans continents and eras, db's contribution to the very culture that spawned innumerable movements is unparalleled. His recordings enabled the expansion of the Toronto Reggae scene and safeguarded the sounds of Africa in Canada.

We are so honoured to be able to share such an important story with you. This is the very first of a series of bespoke long-form content that will examine the very evolution of Dub itself.
