"To him who much is given much will be required"
When God has given you much is because he is expecting much from you. You have to learn how to manage much, how to multiply much, how much is your much affecting many. The more you are given the less freedom you will have.

Three things young people can do to tackle the unemployment rate in SA

So strange that the most educated generation in South African history is experiencing record-breaking levels of unemployment.

Growing up, we were told that we should go to school, get good grades and we will get high paying jobs. As the born-frees we took this upon our hearts and we ran with it, and when time came for the qualification we acquired to pay off it didn't and to those that managed to get employment it wasn't as high paying as they told us. 😞😒

What do we do now to shift the destructive fate of our generation?🧐🤔

1. Career Change
Minister of Higher Education Dr Blade Nzimande once made comments that weren't welcomed by many. He said there's number of graduates that have studied degrees that the economy doesn't need and as such it becomes so hard for those individuals to find employment.
He's right some graduate went on to study in fields that the South African economy doesn't have a market for. Now they qualified but the economy doesn't want them. Where applicable do an evaluation of your qualification and industry then you will have a clear picture if career change it's an option for you. It doesn't help waiting for a train at a bus station. Before you make any destiny deciding choice make sure you consult with relevant sources and people of influence or knowledge in your industry.

2. Learn New Skills
You can learn a new skill to enhance your career or to start a new career. One thing that I have grown to appreciate in the time we live in is that there's a lot of skills that you can learn on the Internet. You can learn how to design house plans, you can learn how to develop a website you can learn diverse kind of skills depending on your interest for free all it will cost you is time, dedication and data. This alone can propel you to new horizons in your career. It can enhance your CV to standout or you can be self employed and monetise the skill.

3. Become Entrepreneurial
Most people when they think of an entrepreneurial mindset they think of a huge company that has millions of money in capital.
According to Miriam Webster; An entrepreneur is a person who starts a business and is willing to risk loss in order to make money. The whole aim of entrepreneurship is turning opportunities and skills into profit.
Look around you what kind of opportunities can you capitalise? And depending on your affordability index, you can start with a zero budget to few thousands rand seed investment that can change your life and a life of a generation.
What are opportunities in your area?
Do you have the capacity to take them and turn them into profits?
What skills do you have that you can monetise?

Let's attempt great things for our generation.

Three things I've learned about the former president.

1. He's a genius
I heard people talking about being a standard two dropout, well this country was once led by a "primary dropout" that should tell you something about the man. Many have a university degree but they are struggling to convince employers that they are of high value. A primary dropout convinced the whole country that he's worthy leader. University qualification isn't the absolute symbol of intelligence.

2. He’s charismatic
His charm has drawn him devoted following who are willing to die for him. His followers aren't devoted to facts. Truth or not but they have a devoted loyalty to him regardless of weather he's wrong or not. He has done and said enough to convince the masses that he's for them and for that they rewarded him with unwavering support. Yeah he's got a cult-like following.

3. He's fearless.
If there's any person in this country who's not scared to shake the pillars of our constitution he's the man. He has been testing every inch of our constitution in the courts. He's fighting right at the cliff of being thrown in jail. He's challenging the system of our governance. He's challenging the strength of our courts. This is one quality(Being fearless) that separate managers from leaders. Many claim to be leaders but in actuality they are managers. Weather you support him or not it doesn't change the fact that he's a top leader.

You can rise to prominence if you believe in yourself. build good relationships everywhere you go. Be bold and courageous.
