Folio Folio is Skidmore College’s only student-run literary magazine! We accept poetry, fiction, creative n Multiple submissions both encouraged and accepted.

Student work is reviewed on a rolling basis from September until early to mid-March. Accepted work is both uploaded to the Folio website and considered for publication in Folio's end of the year physical issue, released near the end of the Spring semester. We consider submissions of all forms and genre, including (but not limited to) fiction, poetry, non-fiction, photography, art. Any and all subm

issions should be sent to [email protected] as separate documents/attachments. After your submission is reviewed by our editorial board, we will inform you of its publication status. Our Story

Folio Literary Magazine is Skidmore’s only student-run literary magazine, and the most prestigious student publication on campus. We accept all forms of printable creative work, including but not limited to poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, illustration, painting, digital art, photography, and photos of 3-D art.

To submit, send your work as an attachment to [email protected]. Your submission will be reviewed at our open editorial meeting, and we will inform you near the date of publication whether your work was accepted. Multiple submissions are both encouraged and accepted.

We also host a monthly open mic for reading creative work called Speakeasy, usually held in the Chapel or at Falstaff’s.
