Inviting creative energy for me has always been about activating my senses. Recording season 2 of the pod with @thestubaccra_ has been an excellent way to challenge myself. This season required way more production than season 1 and was a reminder that creating is about more than just flowing ideas ans imagination, there’s a lot of admin work in that too. I appreciated the experience and am looking forward to season 3. Y’all ready?
Document everything as a form of backup. Documentation is a very good way of validating an idea earlier brought at a brainstorming activity. Write it down and reiterate. Do you pen down your every idea? How has it helped thus far?

Growing up, we are trained to believe that rules are rules. That there is nothing to be negotiated. But EVERYTHING is negotiable. Nana Spio- Garbrah advises us to understand the system and people in it. We need to learn the in-depth functioning of the system in order to properly negotiate our wants and desires. When you keep a positive attitude towards criticism and use it to refine your approach, you will win in the end.

Although, 2020 gave us a ton of surprise curve balls, how we view these redirections matters a lot. I personally appreciated the opportunity to slow down, but for others these detours resulted in job losses and business downturn.
