"Ice" by Hassan Abou Alam entered the world of Nehza Records on 23rd September 2022. A year later, Nikki Nair mutates the original, resulting in a sludgy, bass-heavy, broken concoction of metallic stabs, crisp claps, and an alien vocal repeating the track title. It's the kind of tune to catch the dancefloor off guard, layered with quirky and off-kilter qualities, amplified by impeccable sound design.

Melbourne's Mabel makes her Nehza Records debut with five tracks that blur the lines between psytrance, progressive house, breakbeat and tech house, culminating into one psychedelic trip. Mabel titles each track after a hybrid animal, hence the EP's name Hybrid, aligning the release with Nehza's vision of telling stories about nature through electronic music. With this in mind, Mabel conjures impressions of forest and beachside raves, dancing with creatures that lurk just beneath.

Excited to reveal our first release of the year 2023 🏹
Bordeaux-based producer and DJ Neida returns to Nehza Records on 24th February with a punchy 4-track release. Following the success of his debut EP Slowing via Nehza Records in 2021, rising talent Neida delivers False Nostalgia, fusing breaks, bass and jungle-flavoured melodies.
Making introspective yet dancefloor-driven music, the EP is aligned with the label's ethos to highlight themes of climate change and to preserve our planet's beauty, as each track simmers with an underlying sense of urgency.
