MP JOHN THITE IGNORED CAR ACCIDENT VICTIMS?

A certain lady narrated of how they came across an accident on the Transkalahari Highway when the newly elected Gantsi BDP member of parliament was not botherd to show compasion to those who were looking at death in the eyes yesterday.

This is is an extract of her experience:

"Today has been the most difficult day of my life...such an emotional roller coaster. My family attended a cousin' wedding ko Maun. Coming back today just a little after 1p.m, 90km from Gantsi, Gabs bound , we found a mini bus(combi) e pitikologile.

All this time the injured people ba mo letsatsing le le bothoko, they are getting dehydrated and losing a lot of blood re emetse ditlamelo only 90km away. We were quickly moving into the 2nd hour.

**I stopped this particular white Fortuner with 2 gentlemen mo teng ebile o bona gore ne ba sa batle go ema. I insisted they stop ka ne ke batla go kopa surgical gloves from the F.A.K if they had it. I was met with such hostility and dis-interest from them...ba chobetse dikipa tsa party e ke e thophileng( don't get me wrong and think I am out to call out any party), mme hela seeing a whole Mopalamente o batho ba mo tlhophileng walk into such a scene, with such disinterest, walked back to his fancy car with his mate ba chobetse tees tsa Bdp and drive off ba tlogela Batswana ba ba tlhophileng jalo was the most disheartening thing ever.

Ga ba ise ko ba mpotse gore go diragetse, why medics ba seo on the scene, how they could help, nothing!! They were mere spectators who couldn't be bothered with the situation. Ga ba sena go tsamaya ga feta metsotso le metsotso 2 hrs a wela with no sign of help, I got so angry hela gore mopalamente couldn't even be bothered to drive straight to Gantsi Hospital go ya go re biletsa ambulance bogolo. I wondered what kind of legislators we have voted to serve us, if he is failing to serve only 14 people in his month of appointment. Poor people who were fighting for their lives. It got me so perturbed to think and actually have a realisation that we have voted for self serving people who do not care about a simple Motswana.

Today I stand as a simple Motswana who has experienced her fellow sisters perish because of a poor health system. I will not rest after the trauma I experienced today until all Legislators are accountable to Batswana ka kgang tsa botsogo. I demand a full investigation gore why it t**e over 2 hrs for an ambulance to reach an accident scene ebile e tla hela e tshwana le koloi ngwe le went on the road jaanong stopping every car in site to ask for gloves and ga ke neng ka utlwa botlhoko teng is when I stopped this particular white Fortuner with 2 gentlemen mo teng ebile o bona gore ne ba sa batle go ema. We continued to try and make batho ba ba Modimo as comfortable as we could, running between all of them, re bua le bone to keep them awake as they kept slipping in and out of consciousness.

We lost the 2nd person ke mo tshwere ke leka go mo thantsha gore a seka a robala, she took her last breath ke mo tshwere la nkutwa...

team engaged by Umbrella for Democratic Change -UDC, to investigate election rigging by the ruling party claims P15 million from Directorate of Intelligence and Security - DIS was used to buy people to rig elections.

"Some of the money was channelled through DIS front companies," forensic investigator Paul O'Sullivan revealed in Johhaesburg,South Africa this morning at a press conference.

"One of the companies that was used belongs to the ruling party Secretary General and Gaborone North member of parliament Mpho Balopi," the investigator claimed.

He went on to say that," some of the money was ewalleted through Stanbic Bank Botswana to team leaders and also distributed through members of secret service in bags"

O'Sullivan alleged that churches and football teams were given money to influence their member to vote for the ruling party.

"There must be an election rerun and and criminal charges must be laid against Botswana Democratic Party leaders and DIS who were involved rigging," the forensic expert said,also advising that a proper audit of the elections must be carried out.

He said there was fraud, corruption and money laundered during in the October 2019 elections.

This is the son to the youngest ever member of parliament in this history of our one and only Botswana, our home. This is the son to Daniel Kwelagobe a father and mentor to many. A man who has given his entire life to our land, to our freedom, to our education, to our success, to our country.

Oh....Dan this is how we reward your kindness. This is how your hardwork and commitment to this nation is rewarded. For your children to be called Kaffirs in their own country.

The utterances by the racist should not go unattended. This is our country. This is our land. Regardless of race, birth or privilege we are all equals. That is the true meaning of our existence as Batswana.

Our forefathers gave their all for a better and racist free Botswana. This man must be kicked out from our land. This is not our way. This is not the Botswana our forefathers foretold of.
