It's finally here! Clapper's beautiful debut album On Tempo is out TODAY via SBD and our dear partners Pasteelo & HHV Records.

More than a year in the works, we are super happy to see the recognition the fellas' have already gotten (4 hearts in Politiken today!). Much more to come, we're sure.

Big shout outs to Rasmus Johansen for the incredible artwork and graphic design, as well as Eric Lau (mix), and ET Mastering (master) for the sonics on an amazingly well-sounding album.

Also big shout outs to Sean-Poul from Ohwell Booking for another fruitful collab.

Casual Friday - the second single from Clapper's upcoming debut album - is out today.

Straddling a line between wistful melancholia and hopeful optimism, the track features saxophonist Christian Vuust in perfect unison with guitarist Jeppe's catchy refrain.

We are extremely proud to announce our next release - the debut album by the Danish fusion kings Clapper.

'On Tempo' is a whirlwind through fusion and soul-inspired modern jazz with nods to the very best instrumental hiphop. Catchy melodies and heavy beats all the way throughout.

New release alert! Jesper Akton's new album Entirely Gradually - prominently featuring the drum work of Terkel Nørgaard - is out TODAY on Super Bad Disco / Pasteelo, with the LP pressed by Nordsø Records.

The record has been more than a year under way, and we are all extremely happy with and proud of the result. You are all cordially invited to the release reception today - Entirely Gradually Vinyl Release - with limited specials for sale, DJ sets by Tobias Clemen and Anthon Stacks, and free beer for the quick.

The LP will make its way to Copenhagen record stores over the weekend, and we'll begin international distribution next week. Thank you to all involved in the recording and production of the album, and thank YOU, dear listener, for supporting the music.

The second single from Lord Akton's upcoming album with Terkel Nørgaard on Super Bad Disco/ Pasteelo is out today on digital platforms. This time, it's a double header, featuring the tracks Drafted and Freed. Both tracks feature Isabelle Bania and Pernille Kristensen from the amazing Danish string quartet Halvcirkel.

Akton writes: "I have been a great fan of Halvcirkel for a long time, the warmth and depth in their own compositions and interpretations. I knew I wanted string sections on my album, so after writing sections for two violins, I reached out to them, and luckily they had the time to join me in Black Tornado Studio."

Entirely / Gradually drops on vinyl May 11, pressed by SBD's own Shatter Hands at the almighty Nordsø Records in Copenhagen. Link in comments.

In the works for over a year, we are so, so happy to be able to present our next release - Akton feat. Terkel Nørgaard: Entirely/ Gradually, out May 11 via Super Bad Disco / Pasteelo.

We've rocked with Jesper Akton since the early Copenhagen beat scene days - keen eyes and ears will know that we also released his album Stone Loop Presence in 2020.

Now, he's joined forces with another dear friend and killer jazz drummer, Terkel Nørgaard. Together, they've recorded the basis for a one-of-kind LP, fusing jazz, hiphop, classical and even the odd house track.

The album features a host of talented musicians - including members of Halvcirkel and CLT Trio, while the beautiful artwork was done by the one and only Rasmus Johansen/ IKACO.

The first single -Zareth's Search for Origin- is out today, with preorders and further release info available via our Bandcamp shortly. Link in comments.

We are proud to present our latest release - SOFA T // The Russell Exchange - which is out on vinyl and digital today, March 17, in collaboration with HHV Records.

The record is the result of heavy digging in the streets and markets of Kolkata, followed by intense machine doctoring in Sofa's studio in Copenhagen.

If you are into gritty, lo-fi beats and eclectic sample choices, this one's a sure shot.

The Copenhagen release party is tonight at Bolsjefabrikken, where Sofa will be accompanied by Dust Masta Hiss, Lord Akton, Jesper Lemke and Shatter Hands from the SBD family.

We are proud to announce our next release, "Entirely / Gradually", produced and composed by Lord Akton, released in collaboration with our dear friends Pasteelo.

The album is a collaboration between Akton and drummer Terkel Nørgaard. Like the rest of the album, the first single "Unit Shifter" features Lars Fiil on electric piano, Casper Nyvang Rask on electric bass and Pernille Kristensen and Isabelle Bania from Halvcirkel on violins.

You can catch the crew live next week at Bryggens Beat Club Presents: Akton/Nørgaard w/ Lord Akton, Terkel Nørgaard, Lars Fiil & Casper Rask at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge.

Today we celebrate the release of Jabar Ligla's debut album. A panorama of almost 20 years of beatmaking and musical curiosity, which we are extremely proud to have played a part in presenting to the world.
