Gucci is celebrating 60 years in Japan with a series of events, starting with an exciting exhibition at the Gucci Ginza Gallery. The exhibition, titled “Bamboo 1947: Then and Now,” is dedicated to the iconic Gucci Bamboo 1947 bags, this time reimagined by traditional artisans and contemporary artists. Ashi Studio’s excitingly anticipated vision for Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Air’s uniform has finally been presented. During Paris Haute Couture Week, Saudi Arabian designer Mohammed Ashi revealed taking cues from the movie Catch Me If You Can to create a monochromatic, chic uniform for the airline. It resulted in cashmere outerwear and dresses and trousers created from fine wool, all completed with amethyst earrings and pillbox hats or hijabs. It is inspired by the golden age of travel in the 1950s and 1960s with a modern twist that aims to remain timeless.

Amina Takes Ibiza: Footwear designer Amina Muaddi unveils the Brito capsule collection, made from a single block of Plexiglass and named after her boyfriend Fary Lopes. The release of the style, which comes in orange, azure, lotus pink, fluo green, and transparent, was accompanied by a campaign starring Tina Kunakey shot in the pool in Ibiza, Spain. “We shot the campaign in the pool because this shoe has no leather component, no sole. It cannot get ruined in the water. So it’s also a cool thing that you can wear it when it rains or when you have a pool party,” Amina Muaddi said in a statement.

Gucci presented its 2025 Cruise collection, selecting London as the destination for its fashion show. The show, encompassing all aspects, resonates with life’s dichotomies: rigor and extravagance, strength and delicacy, Englishness with an Italian accent. Creative Director Sabato De Sarno expresses “I owe a lot to this city, it has welcomed and listened to me. The same is true for Gucci, whose founder was inspired by his experience there.”

The collection merges workwear with street and salon styles. Fragility intertwines with strength, as seen in the iconic lobster clasp transformed into a feminine pearl necklace. Horsehair details across suede pay homage to the House’s passion for the equestrian world. Denim, flat ballerinas, and creepers are also incorporated.
