What feels like yesterday but was actually almost 3 years ago 😭

In October of 2021, Barbara and Cristian eloped and had a session with me in Islamorada. They had gone to the courthouse earlier that day and had made it official but had never exchanged rings and they got to do that while I was behind the camera (I was honored, needless to say!).

When they reached out a few months ago to share that they were having a baby boy and wanted me to photograph their maternity shoot, ALL the feels came rushing in!

It’s so special to be a part of their journey in marriage and, now, parenthood 🫶🏻

- Vale’s first look with her dad
- Grandma helping the bride get ready to walk down the aisle
- The first touch where Vale and Joshua shared their private vows and the entire media team was in shambles
- Grandpa taking a photo of his soon-to-be granddaughter walking down the aisle
- Joshua being comforted by his brothers/best men as he sees his bride for the first time
- The father of the bride hugging his soon-to-be son
- The faces of two people who are in love and officially married to their best friend

“Is it raining?”

“It’s drizzling yeah, we will have to wait it out a bit and see!”

This was the conversation Sam and I had minutes before her and JR’s session.

It went from pouring to drizzling and back to pouring but we decided to wait it out anyways!

After many prayers, God opened up a 1 hour time slot and held the rain so we could get these sweet photos of them 😭

Gabs and I are traveling soon for another destination wedding in Michigan so naturally I’m prompted to remember the sweet wedding of RoLo! 🥹

I’m constantly praying for more and more opportunities to travel for work because it’s so freaking fun, we get to explore different locations and we serve couples worldwide!

Eli and Sean’s day was so special and touching 😭

Their love for one another was depicted in the tears they shed while exchanging vows, their gentleness with one another throughout the day and the way they look at each other.

So much love and happiness for these two!

Caro and Lance a fun and very much in love 🥹

These two met a few years ago and have been inseparable ever since and, in a few months, they’re officially getting married!!!

I can’t wait to photograph their special day in front of their families and friends later this year!

Talk about a moment that lives in my head rent free...

Yuli and David exchanging their vows underneath umbrellas in the drizzling rain…

Oh my goodness, it was so beautiful, private and impactful!

Right after they exchanged their vows and it was time for bridal portraits, I remember suggesting to them that Yuli spread her dress out onto this dock. I told them if they were down, it would 100% make for some of the most incredible images ever!

The dress being spread was so breathtaking and I remember being insanely proud of these photos as I took them 🥹

Bottom line: trust your photographer’s suggestions even if they seem crazy 😂

In my first ever conversation with Kat and Manny, they made it very clear that they felt like they “weren’t big picture takers and were really awkward in front of a camera”. They even warned me that photographing them was “gonna take some work.”

I personally love when couples tell me this because that tells me that they will take any advice and fully trust me with posing and guidance! Every couple is unique but once they find a fun rhythm, the camera disappears, they find themselves standing in front of the love of their life and the rest is just a blast 🫶🏻

This photo has a “like a good photographer Spencer is there” feel. So I figured I’d reintroduce myself, especially with all the new faces on here!

I’m Spencer, and I am super passionate when it comes to wedding photography. I have had the privilege of documenting countless weddings and creating memories for my couples. My approach to photography is focusing on capturing genuine emotions and the essence of your wedding day while making it stress-free for you and guiding you along the way.

Lately, in terms of hobbies, I’ve been having an absolute blast playing pickleball with my fiancé Gaby (who you’ll definitely be seeing around here), playing chess daily and learning how to solve a Rubix cube, among other things.

Above all, I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and honor God through my work 🫶🏻

I honestly had the best time photographing Chelsey and Robert’s engagement session! I think we laughed the entire time (literally 😂).

Their chemistry was absolutely infectious, they brought such a positive energy from the moment they stepped out of their car for their photo shoot!

They are definitely my kinda of people and I can’t wait for their big day next year 🫶🏻

Your love is unique and your photoshoot should too!

Many of my couples absolutely love the beach photos and I, for one, am all for them 🫡

If you do want to spice it up and add some props to your beach photoshoot, here are a few ideas:

- A paddle board
- Champagne
- Picnic with a blanket
- Air mattress (fully provided by me, just say the word!)
- Your fav food (sushi, donuts, pizza, bring all the goodness 🍣🍩🍕)

If you are planning on adding any of these to your shoot, just let me know ahead of time and let’s make some magic together!

Watch til the end... These two brought ALL the energy and I loved being able to capture their real emotions. I know this is probably obvious cause you see my work everyday, but the REAL emotions and the REAL smiles matter more to me in the image/video than the pose itself. Listen to how this wild morning turned out... As soon as the sun started coming up, the rain started coming down. Lucky for us, it was one of the most incredible sunrises I've ever seen. The water was a pristine aqua and the laughs were so loud! Sunrise shoots are it! Photos coming soon and I guarantee you aren't ready!

That one time Victoria got pissed at Mike during our photoshoot.. Or pretended to😂 I asked Victoria what her fav food was and she said confidently that it was Chick-fil-a. The next words out of my mouth were “Pretend Mike didn’t get you Chick-fil-a and you’re mad at him for it.” Insert angry Victoria at the beginning of this vid. You better believe that man got her Chick-fil-a after the shoot! *DISCLAIMER* No actors were genuinely mad in the making of this film Ladies, do you have a similar angry face when you’re hungry?

Contrary to popular belief, I’m also a videographer. Enough about me, let’s talk about the wedding. It was absolutely beautiful. As cringey as this may sound, I felt the love in the air. After Flor and Luciano gave their vows and said their I do’s, they walked to a portion of the house where they got into a full on hug sesh with their family and friends.
