HOW TO SUBMIT (READ BELOW)

Phantasm (a figment of the imagination; an illusion or apparition.) As the name implies, our magazine is all about the imagination. We are looking for content that is cosplay or fantasy-based, with a few theme months thrown in here and there. Together we can build a beautiful magazine full of imagination and wonder. If you are creative, talented, and professional, we e

ncourage you to send us your submissions. Artists and Writers, we want your submissions too! If you have a wonderful fantasy-themed story or piece of artwork, feel free to submit.

*Note* Please understand that we cannot purchase a print copy of the issues for those who submit. We use Magcloud as a printer because they print and ship internationally making the magazine available worldwide. We do not get free print copies, and as you can imagine it would be very expensive to have to purchase copies for everyone, as much as we wish this could be possible. :)

MAGAZINE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1. Please e-mail at least 4-6 lower resolution JPEGS to [email protected]. If we choose to publish your work, we will contact you about submitting high-res versions through Dropbox.

2. IMPORTANT: All final high res images MUST be the following sizes to fit the magazine pages properly: Portrait Layout: 8.5" x 11" (2500 x 3300 pixels) 300 dpi resolution in RGB. Landscape Layout: 17" x 11" (5100 x 3300 pixels) 300 dpi resolution in RGB.

3. IMPORTANT: While shooting landscape images make sure you do not have your subjects face landing right in the middle of the image. We use these for double page spreads, and you can imagine what it would look like with a magazine binding going down the middle of the face.

4. To be considered for a COVER FEATURE photos must NOT be posted online or published anywhere else. We see too many people posting images before the issue even comes out. If you do this the images will no longer be considered. Please be patient and wait until the magazine is released to share the images.

5. Every issue is now open themed, so anything cosplay or fantasy related can be submitted. This includes steampunk & goth themed images. Check out our Pinterest (https://www.pinterest.com/PhantasmMag/) for examples of the type of qaulity work we like to see.

6. Please provide all credit information with your submissions. We believe in giving proper credit to everyone involved. If you do not provide this information with your submission, it slows down the process. You can use our Credit Submission document located here: (https://www.dropbox.com/s/mtol85ndgcd7xpi/Submission%20Credits.docx?dl=0)

7. In your submission email PLEASE PROVIDE THE TITLE OF YOUR SET.

8. You must send model release forms. You can send in your own our use ours which you can find here (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/a99hlmnfdnrx0fi/AAAlvFt79rFUXZhmgfkiy9y5a?dl=0).
